Skyrim- The game was OK, but it was easily the weakest of the Elder Scrolls games IMHO.

The so-called "Resident Evil 4" (and later games). Purest gaming feces.

Dark Souls, though I never played the sequels.

Metroid & Link games once they went 3D- I personally found them practically unplayable (Though I loved the 2D versions).

Actually, this should be ACTUAL 4, Code: Veronica. Code:Veronica was the 4th Resident Evil, not the so-called "RE4". Resident Evil 3:Nemesis was the third RE game.

That being said, any of the original "classic" games I believe to be superior to any of the "run-and-gun" Resident Evils (starting with the so-called "4"). However, Code:Veronica is my personal favorite. I never played any "ReMakes", but I did enjoy the original as well as the Director's Cut version.

As a RPG fan, I had no real reason to purchase a N64. The decision by Nintendo to go with cartridges instead of optical discs ultimately doomed the console IMHO.

I finally did purchase one years after it was released, along with two Zelda games and After Dark (along with an "upgrade module" that apparently was optional, but was needed for the Zelda games...??). I found the new format 3D Zelda games virtually unplayable (I certainly preferred the older 2D format). Ultimately, I only played the console for a day or so.

At the time of my life when all of this was happening, I was in my 30s and so sick of anything that had "Mario" stamped on it that I never even considered any of those games.

I know a lot of people really enjoyed the console, but these are MY reasons for voting it as my least favorite Nintendo system. However, I never owned a Wii or Wii-U, so I cannot comment on those. Owned the rest of the Nintendo consoles.

That bit about "video games going all-digital" though really get me. All video games are digital, regardless of where they are stored.

Physical copies of video games are digital. They just have the files stored onto a piece of substrate as opposed to a file stored on a computer.

It is the same thing, just a difference in how they are stored. You really didn't know that?
