LOL, it is a blatant retcon, and it came out of fucking nowhere. Yusuke was not supposed to be part demon before and nothing suggested he was. Suddenly it turns out he is. It's extremely forced and shoehorned; terrible writing. Yes, a forced twist as big as this kills the whole show. Before, the show was just about a human Spirit Detective protecting the Human World from demons. Then, it suddenly becomes about a demon trying to become the strongest demon or some shit? Unfocused, sloppy writing. Show lost its identity.

The Chapter Black arc should have ended with Kuwabara avenging Yusuke by killing Sensui. That was actually built up and would have felt natural.

That ending would be terrible tbh.

Yusuke wasn't that btw, until the twist. Like he had to die to become a demon. It actually could've added to the show as it shows that just because he's a demon, it doesn't change him much or make him evil. Which was a big part of Chapter Black. That humans were actually more evil than Demons. Hell Chapter Black was Yusuke protecting the Human World...from a Human. A former Spirit Detective. So it literally flipped on itself (kinda cleverly) by having a demon protect humans from a human. After that it was him finding his identity and demon roots. The tournament is the only thing that fucked that up and sucked.

Not with Yusuke randomly being retconned into a demon. Before that, the arc was just meh at best, but it did have potential for a great finale. The retcon killed that potential.

The final arc was directly tied to that BS retcon, so it's trash by default. Even looking at the arc by itself, it was half-assed.

This is not how a lot of vaccines work these days. You're describing a "live attenuated" vaccine, where a pathogen is modified into a form that is non-virulent in humans. (e.g. selected using viral culture, gene defects that render a virus unable to enter human cells, etc.). It's not the same as just giving a "small amount of the disease." Examples include MMR and varicella vaccines.

Many vaccines nowadays are inactivated or subunit vaccines. It's like injecting a non-functional part of the organism so that your body can recognise it, but it's not actually an organism capable of reproducing. It's like if I put you in a room full of tiger skins. You would learn to recognise a tiger's appearance, but you would not be inany danger of being attacked by a tiger. This is how influenza, pneumococcal, pertussis vaccines work.

That does sound less nonsensical.

Well, you know the the original study that proved that vaccines cause autism by Andrew Wakefield? It was proven that he lied about his results, specifically about the kids before and after medical conditions. Also he was being paid by a lawyer who was suing vaccine manufacturers, and the lawyer needed proof that vaccines cause autism, so he hired Wakefield to do the test.

But ok, go ahead and believe that the literally HUNDREDS, possibly thousands of peer reviewed studies by independent people that proved there is absolutely no link between vaccines and autism have all been paid off or were wrong.

I never said I think vaccines give autism so not sure why you guys brought that up. And yeah, accepted studies (especially peer reviewed...if you've ever worked with peers, that doesn't suddenly make it foolproof) have been wrong. All the time. Usually to push a stance or ideology.

And given that vaccination sounds like a terrible Idea, I'll refrain from it for my children and myself.
