I dislike MK in a way, as last time I played I lost from a near unlosable position - the person who beat me had to rely on three particular rolls in a row as the only possible way I could lose and it happened. Wouldn't worry me as much, it's more he didn't seem to realize just how lucky he got to win that (less than 1% chance).

...I will still probably end up playing it again some time soon as another person I regularly play these games with really enjoys it.

I thought this season was ok at times, but Ben wasn't a great winner for me - not a fan of people needing to rely on immunity/idols every episode to stay in the game. Also not a fan of how they will be doing final 4 from now on, with fire to decide the third finalist. May have been ok if it was a one time thing, but Jeff did say it was staying in future seasons (unless I misheard). Wish they would stop changing everything - fairly sure it would still rate well without all the twists and changes.

Didn't watch most of the reunion, stopped once I saw who won (even though it was obvious). I had a fair idea with Jeff taking forever to even start to read out the votes to know I wouldn't miss much interesting by skipping it, and that most of the cast would be ignored (again). Seems I was right.

Good topic choice.

I mainly suggested this one as I want to hear some of the better stuff from the games in the series I haven't got to yet (basically any games not playable in 1.5 or 2.5), but it will be good to see thoughts on the songs I do know too. Not that there are many bad songs in the series from what I have played, so I could probably listen to anything from the games I haven't played and like it.

Is this just going to focus on original tracks, or is it going to include stuff like Night on Bald Mountain / One Winged Angel too? I don't think there are too many of these songs in the series anyway, and they usually do fit the corresponding fights / areas well, so probably doesn't matter either way if you include them or not.

Long term, yeah, you are right. Looks like Pun likes to zanmato everything to beat them, so it would have been useful earlier for paying off Yojimbo/bribes etc.

Haven't read this for a while and just caught up. Have you ever ranked the music from the series at all? I haven't played through the entire series, but of those I have, there are a lot of great tracks, it could be good to hear some of the better ones from the games I haven't played. May be a bit hard to rank all of them in order though.

Nope.

Find an enemy which drops plenty of items and throw a distiller at them before killing them.

Where you are at, I would focus on levelling 3 characters only to save spheres, depends what you want to do though.

Keep Auron in your party, as he has first strike, so you can flee if you face something too hard.

Use provoke on the Malboro's.

Demonoliths suck. After a bit of levelling you can usually take them down easily enough though.

Most of the rest are easy enough to survive. But I would stick close to the save point if you are just using it to level up or catch monsters.

Yeah, it resets everything back to the starting teams/stats/abilities. Means you can get all Wakka's overdrives in 24-26 games, which is still a lot.

Can I change my response from after Week 2 when you asked if Level 3 should be changed? I think I have changed my mind and yes it should. Guess a team I pick won't have their starting QB get injured in the first quarter every week though, which pretty much ruined my chances this week. Looks like I was right with Level 4 being reasonably easy this week too, with 11 getting through.

Was flicking through channels last night and saw some of the Australian Survivor contestants on an "All-Star" episode of Family Feud. The contestants did come up with some interesting responses at times. Funniest of these was probably Tara's who had to name a creature that can live both on land and in water. She came up with "Crabs", but her comment before answering was this was something all the contestants got on the show (she meant that they all had these to eat apparently. She realised pretty quickly what she had said was not exactly right).

Aimee's response to "Name something you associate with David Bowie" (she said "David") was kind of funny too. Not surprisingly this one got 0.

Was probably funnier to see these on the show than my retelling to be honest. Not a show I usually watch, but I had nothing better to do at the time though, and it was entertaining enough. It's probably available somewhere to download if anyone really wanted to see it.

Just saw it, and I would say it was a slightly above average episode at best - really not all that much happened. It looks like some things are being set up for future episodes though, which the upcoming switch will probably mean some of them don't happen anyway.
