Even then Agrias' USB1 isn't really chase worthy, it will show it's age sooner than the USB2 which is on a banner with better relics, and she's not fast or versital enough to be that reliable of a sole dps in later content especially since the element she focuses on is the weakness of the most speed based *3 magicite fight.

And outside of the breaks that banner still sucks. Mustadio's USB is overshadowed by better fire or machinists relics (you said you were going to pull for Edgar's which is a way better machinest, and you already have Sabin's USB.) Montblanc is a mediocre mage and Gaffgarion's LM while it is good it's on Gaffgarion.

Even pulling for favorites you still have to realize it's a lost cause pulling for break focused relics, this is widely considered the worst banner since the FF6 Cyan/Gogo banner.

Magicite and the new torments are different beasts. Magicites are primarily about elements and buffs while the new torments have a gimmick where their stats are nigh impossible insane and having more characters in the party from that torment's realm weakens the boss (kind of like a reversed Nemesis where his stats rose if you had two or more characters in a shared realm.) and you also are locked to a RW chain that increases from same realm character's attacks.

Imperial is actually better since the other holy DPS characters can benefit from it and the chases help in a holy/torment chain. And she's not even the best holy DPS in her own realm, she's pretty slow which is why I dropped her from my Shadow Dragon team.

The anniversary banners always change in global though, only guaranteed stuff is relics that make this debut there.

Agrias' USB actually isn't that good through, her USB2 is way better in the long run since more bosses in the future are going to become 80% resistant to breaks (Ozma, Cloud of Darkness, Weapons, Zeromus etc.) Which is why this banner sucks so hard due to Mustadio and Meladoul's relics being break focused, and Montblanc is mediocre. Only reason to pull on this banner is that this may be the last chance for Ramza USB1.

Even out of favoritism I'm surprised you did 3 pulls on an overall poor banner, when Agrias' relics return next FFT event and the 3 year anniversary next month.

Maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, they pushed back that FF1 Thief event back recently, maybe we'll finally get Meia before then since her relics are on that banner? (probably not)

100 gemmed Mustadio's burst, well it's new, it's just not very useful in this Magicite era.

Ultimates mastered, Cid Misson'd all of them (out of laziness, FFT is well covered except for Wall) Marche, Orlandeau, Ramza, Agrias and Olivia. First two were easy, Milleuda took me by surprise.

Isilud is cake, he lost like half of his health before Ramza's shout went off, guess D140's just get overwhelmed just by 4* magicite buffs now.

Same ol' same ol' Wiegraf, only thing you have to worry about is getting stopped and having to interrupt him for medals (Really Dena? I thought we were past status effect medals.)

Milleuda is easy and straightforward at first, but her trump card is her Ultimate Weapon Break that hits aoe and wrecks your damage. Also that Black Mage hit HARD for a mook, like 3500 with single spells and 2000 aoe. She also always counters but Agrias with Divine Cross soaked it up. My damage was nerfed hard because of UWB and this fight took a lot longer than I thought it would because it not only nerfs your attack but overwrites shout as well! I still prevailed thanks to Marche's USB rushdown but I really wish I brought a mage team instead.

Always do 11 since it's the most reliable and you at least get 1 5 star relic, you could do 4 3-relics pulls and get nothing but junk so it's not recommend unless you feel really lucky.

I think it's still up in the air if KH is it's own realm or beyond, it certainly has enough games and characters but having to constantly deal with Disney over licenses may make this a one time thing.

Congrats on getting Marche and Orlandeau's LM/USB sets, Marche has been a beast for me so far and I only have his USB, he's even better now that assault saber is finally here so he doesn't need to use both slots for ____cross & _____bringer. I really want his LM to go with it so he can sub30 Ixion (and unfortunately it's not on the next choice banner in the third anniversary fest ) Only 100 gems got me trash and I don't have the budget for any pulls on this banner.

I finally got my fourth King Bomb from Marilis today so I'm done with her unless I need fire crystals. I beat another 4* Magicite, Midgarsormr today with my Sub30 Golem team, but I got 40 seconds. I saw a video of a sub30 on the FFRK board with Vaan, Bartz, Zack, OK and Rosa so I think I can copy that but I'm kinda scared to go in without Rikku's USB for the Protect/shell. Maybe I should also wait until that wind *5 celerity skill comes out for OK so he can make some use out of his double cast LM.

SFxT got a major balance patch but people still didn't like it which is why it's fallen into obscurity. But it's still a more respected game than MvCI.

Even through people claim the gameplay is good the main issue is that it's boring or confusing to watch. People tag way too much and it makes almost everything safe. The damage scaling goes to nothing about 60,000 damage so more advance combos rarely seem worth the effort when the bread and butter is just as effective, and most people pick Dante, Ultron or Zero so you see the same characters way too often (hence the meme Team Dulltron) Marvel failed as a spectacle and a esport, the two most important things they were aiming for (anybody remember that leaked esports proposal video? lol at it now) and missing out on Evo was the nail in the coffin for this game.

Torment Bahamut comes back tomorrow. That's good since double gyshtal greens are ending and both wind and lightning orbs are nice to have. The current torments are pretty meh for orbs, I've been fighting Marilis with almost every key stone I've gotten since I still need a fourth King Bomb so I've got plenty of fire orbs for now, so Hidon I don't have much interest for.

But a took a break today to fight Bismarck and finally got a fourth Bottomswell! Kinda surprised I've gone this long sub30ing Marilis without Spell Ward.

It's a trap but Ysayle's USB is one hell of a cheese since it's not gonna come back in who knows when. At least the dungeon update is coming earlier around the same time as the KH event so I hopefully scrounge enough mythril from that to get a pull if it's a god banner.

Ultimates mastered, I "Cid Misson'd" all of them with the same team, Alph, Papalymo, Y'shotla, Minfilia and Thancred. FF14 is pretty stacked with native wall, VoF and black mages that can also use white magic.

Tioman does almost no damage and got torn apart fast by Tiamat, Meltdown and Raging Winds.

Shiva was even easier, she only has 300k HP probably because of her snow soldiers but even they die qucik to Valigarmanda. I RW Mog's USB for the quickcasts and I only saw her use normal attacks and diamond dust when she was almost dead.

Ravana's a weird fight with those butterflies he summons, I don't know what they do since I RW OK mUSB and they died to quickcast summons. He does use some AoE 3 hit attack which does hurt pretty bad but I killed him faster than he could kill me.

Even if that was the case Japan hasn't overly power creeped us outside of the Extreme Fest USBs and stronger chains. Most of the banners they had recently would be skipped by most of us if they were here now (especially that current Auron banner, yuck)

That said I can't really see Sora and Riku not being uber since they're so iconic and they're making a big deal about this crossover. I think I'll have to skip the Ysayle banner in case these new relics are really good.

I'm actually really happy to get this-- this should be a suitable sub for Rikku's Hyper Mighty G until I get it. In fact I kinda like Minfilia so I might just use her as my main support and stop chasing Hyper Mighty G-- hope to get Rikku's +50% Atk Water Chain thing instead.

Rikku and Minfilia have diffrent skillsets, but both are good. I feel Minfilia is more straightforward with support/white/knight and Rikku uses more niche skills like machinist, thief, dancer, sharpshooter. Minfilia's such a versatile paladin, she can battery, protectga/shellga, backup healer, sponge, break or even help in a holy chain once assault saber comes out. Her USB stacks with everything I think due to the resistance boost as well.

Bartz for sure since he covers 4 elements, after that it's whoever is going to help you beat the magicite you're targeting. Don't dive Y'shtola through, she can't keep up in 4*magicite unless you're using her for wall, she needs a instant medica USB or BSB2 to become viable again there.

Rinoa can't wrath through and most people are going to use her for her chain, so she either needs a dedicated battery for two bars or Snow's chain (who can't use any ice skills without a BSB) Using them both together is a little faster since Ysayle's sudden freeze can trigger her quickcast LM so she builds meter faster by herself. Ysayle can also use her chase after Valigarmanda while Rinoa's only trigger's after black magic for what it's worth.

Orlandeau's ultra is great and all but I want Ysayle's ultra more. It's a clone of Ashe's and would go great with Rinoa's chain, and would help a ton against Tiamat. And it has native Ice boost to boot!

Orlandeau's USB is bound to come back in later fests but Ysayle's has yet to return in Japan as well.

It was good but it's pretty dated now with the 4-hit Dread Strike and Dire Heal. It is a native Dark boosting glove with decent attack/magic so it's not bad as a stat stick through.

Lucky draw is tomorrow actually.

It's been pretty slow recently, I hate how stuff like Dressed to the Nine's and this Disiddia event are taking up the weekly event instead of just being mini "Tuesday events." And the fact that Dena isn't doing Daily Missions is leaving everyone mythril starved. I was thinking about doing a couple of pulls on FF14's second banner but this mythril drought is making me reconsider with the third anniversary coming soon.

Even Japan seems to be having a slow time, no new characters this month and they only had Ultimecia last month. I kinda understand why since a lot of characters are neglected on banners (hi Angeal) and we're mostly scrapping at C-list but we still should have gotten Reis or Beowulf in the last Tactics event.

The weapon bosses from FF7 (Emerald, Ruby, Ultima and Sapphire) are going to be uber bosses in a fest (it was New year's in Japan) coming up and they're harder than 4* magicite bosses.

Also I just did the broken soul bosses and they're all really easy. Their stats are way lower than the normal version, summons wreck the duo's and my doublecasts Terra and Papalymo made short work of Squall

I actually need Tidus's Chain, Ultra, LM and BSB2 to sub30 Marilis, and that's with luck. This bitch has over a million HP, so I need to keep entrusting Tidus after Chain/Ultra with BSB2 then use that instant cast on a Sapphire shot then hopely give entrust him again so he has another meter. Even if I'm capping 9999s with his chain and KO's USB it needs to be done fast if I want to make it under 30.

*4 magicite is dumb, but at least they're always there so you can fight them when you feel ready. Unfortunately it's going to get dumber with Extreme Fest's Weapons and new torments.

Luck was on my side with some triple casts from Bartz, seems like it's more efficient to just use engulfing quadstrike after OK's FW instead of lifesiphon and have OK or Shelke entrust Bartz some meter to get his USB going, through it is very risky since I used to use that entrust for Rosa

Beat my first *4 star Magicite, Marilis, real close to a sub30 but this isn't as easy as it looks since half the time she can kill me if make a wrong entrust between Rosa and Tidus, and I needed dualcasts to get this close.



And this is supposed to be the easiest 4* magicite, sheesh. At least I got a King Bomb from my first kill.

This was actually a lot easier than I expected since Fenrir's damage is puppy compared to Bismarck, I was capping Chain Blizzaga pretty early with Rinoa's chain thanks to Rikku's 6 hit machinist ability. Shelke has mako might and entrusted Rinoa on the first instant, then Onion Knight used Wrath and Shelke used Wrath and entrust on OK to use his Ultra (also if I get slowed from the first savage winds it's overwrites it) then I keep batterying Rosa to blink away future savage winds.

Guess it's time to move on to 4* magicite, but I want to get my Bottomswell magicite to level 80 first, he's at 75 but I ran out of Arcana and I want the Spell defense skill.

That banner is such a bite in the ass since I already whaled for most of that stuff. I do really want Squall's BSB2 and the legend materias but I have everything else except Noctis' super. That banner is godlike for newcomers trying to get into high level content.

I did the FF11 d300 CM torment with Prishe, Lion, Ramza, Tyro and that puppeteer chick. I only have relics for Lion and Prishe and they're not that good as DPS but they got the job done under Cloud USB RW. This fight is annoying through because of Seeker's status effects and I had no room for Bartz to kill that bastard quick. But I finally got enough *5 Bravery motes to get OK's black magic doublecast Legend Materia!

I'm gonna try to see if I can sub30 Fenrir when the monthly 20 CM resets.

SD3 didn't come out here because it was so big to translate because of all the multiple paths and branches as well as being late in the SNES's lifetime with the Nintendo 64 just around the corner. Secret of Evermore was a project to test an American development branch using a established and familiar engine.

I 100 gem'd a dupe Ace USB, I guess that's not too bad. Would have like his OSB instead for the +10 magic but it's better than 4/3* trash.

Ultimates mastered, easy but they were actually easier than the first Type-0 event (through I guess it's to be expected in a post magicite/OK USB era)

General Bashtar died really quick to Bartz' multicast Snowspell Strikes with Prompto's burst, even with a bow he was capping, and Bashtar didn't even rise into the air before I killed him.

Flyvern's sorta annoying because he resists all elements except poison and holy and is weak to dark, but in a Cid mission the Type-0 characters' only option is Ultima Weapon (or darka lol) since none of the current characters have Darkness abilities. But since you only have to bring 3 T0 characters Cid Raines can carry this fight with his burst and the T0 guys can summon or heal.

Shinryu Celestia I think may be the easiest Apocalypse yet, even easier than that fat priest from that FFT event. At first he's kinda intimidating because his def/res is like magicite level and he has no weakness, but then another target appears (a killsight, whatever that is) and he falls down, his defenses plummet and he didn't attack for the rest of the fight. Maybe it was because I was using a speed mage team of Ace, Terra, Raines, OK and Relm but I'm shocked to see a boss these days pull a Dahaka and just roll over like that.

I finally sub30'd Bismarck! Damn bastard Whale is finally been harpooned!



Even though it is 24 seconds, it's still very luck based. Lightning has to get a few doublecasts and Orlandeau needs to have most of his OSBs be crits. And I have to juggle entrusting Orlandeau and Rosa. I also don't have Lightning's USB so I have to rely on her OSB even through it's not that good, but it does do 50000 if it gets a crit.

Just leaves Fenrir left as the only *3 Magicite I haven't sub30'd yet, ironically he was the first one I beat. I'm going to wait until I have enough *5 Bravery motes to get OK's doublecast Black Magic Legend Materia first.

I did the Crystal Tower, this was actually pretty tough as each boss has a gimmick so you really need to think about which character to bring along.

Atlas was dumb, he's way too fast for how much spams dispells. I didn't master him because I thought Vaan was enough DPS and my teammates were breakers and healers. I also wanted to save my big DPS like Tidus and Bartz for other fights.

I got the 4 hit earth spellblade from the Type-0 event and I can consistently sub30 Hydra no, I now have level 80 Hydra and Emil magicite so I'll try to see if I can sub30 Bismack now. I want to go after Marilis but the only water magicite I have is two Bismarck from the first fight...

Also what's the deal with Meia? Her event still isn't datamined and apparently there's something wonky with her relics on the FF1 Thief banners. They translated some of her relics before but she still isn't playable.

I don't think dualcasts build extra meter, I see Raines dualcast a bunch but I never noticed any increase in meter gain.

Also I chose Zidane's gloves for my second choice, was about to choose Faris's LM but I saw that it doesn't have a magic stat boost and Zidane's does, so Alph and Fujin can benefit from it as well.

Bartz' main strength with the LMR + USB combo is chains through. I use both Tidus and Zack's chains to sub 30 LF and Golem and Bartz does cap pretty early with Snowspell strike on Golem so I'd much rather have the relic than the damage boost for that boss.

I'm also thinking about using Rinoa's chain for Fenrir with Bartz but that's a mixed party and Fenrir would absorb the chases. Bartz' USB is getting buffed in the future where his chases become non elemental so I can use him there if I can't sub30 Fenrir by that point.

It stacks with his RM and legend dive LM, so he has the highest chances of doing a double cast and potentially use up to 5 spell blades. And that's on top of having an amazing USB with chases and covers 4 elements.

I have no Vivi relics unfortunately, that'd be a good pick though for the native fire boost.

Seems like the most popular LM choices are Bartz, Squall, Tidus, Lightning, Terra and Celes (moreso for the holy boost than the materia)

I shouldn't have too much trouble with Atlas, I have Ramza's BSB2 so I can just his command 2 to build meter then refresh haste when I get dispelled. I can either break him down with Lion and Vaan or kill him ASAP with a water chain with Tidus and Bartz.
