I dont understand why marvel was handled pretty well by disney, yet star wars just get the shitty end of the stick pushed into its butt.

Tjey took risk with marvel greenlighting obscure heroes like ant man and black phanter, but with star wars, they play it jist too safe, a reharsh of ep 4, spinoff that still revolve around the same events and era around the original movies, etc.

Star wars has enough source material to last until the end of 21st centuries and endless wave of fans that will throw money into anything star wars.

Since the recording of the songs arent done in real studio, the sound quality usually sound shitty.

Since you arent physically there, you dont exactly being physically there, you dont experience the mania and the 'spirit' of being there watching your favorite artist perform on stage or the hive-mind like joy you get from other fans experiencing the music and performance.

Seems pointless to me. It is a watered down version of both the experience of listening to studio recording and being present at live stage.

All the cons and none of the pros.

VR could revolutionalize live albums though. Basically record a 360 videos and good quality audio and sell it to people so it feels like they are there.
