It doesn't even make sense to kill Sombra. Hype her up for months then just kill her a year later? I doubt it. If any character were to "die" it would probably be one of the original members of Overwatch, so Soldier, Reinhardt or something like that makes way more sense than Sombra. And I doubt they're really planning anything like that.

But, really, the lore and "story" of Overwatch is so disjointed and messy in general, that killing people off is the worst thing they could do. I seriously think they missed out on a big opportunity to tell the story outside the game when they cancelled the graphic novel. Also everyone wanted them to make a show. I would so watch an Overwatch cartoon. It feels like the time to make that work is long past though, which is a shame.

Yeah I did that. It wasn't that hard, enemies were just more accurate and bulletspongey. Nothing really "1999" about that. It was kind of a let down tbh.

Also, yes, Infinite is the weakest of the series in terms of gameplay. They kinda stripped away everything about the gameplay that made it interesting in the first place.

Oh, so, let's talk about the current anti-tank meta. With the addition of Brigitte, and the buffs to Mei, it's very apparent that playing tank isn't so hot right now. In fact, I'm seeing even fewer tanks recently than normal. There are too many stunlock abilities in this game. Way too many. Blizz devs have said they hate these kinds of abilities, yet to counter the tank meta they keep adding/buffing abilities that take away control. I think these recent changes and additions took it a bit overboard, and nobody wants to play tank now. Playing Reinhardt or Orisa is just so ineffective against all these anti-control abilities. Brigitte is so broken that you can effectively play her as the off-tank instead of something like D.Va or Zarya, because Brigitte can't fucking die. In a 1v1 Brigitte wins 100% of the time, and a big part of that is her short cooldown on her stunlocks. I don't know how they're possibly going to fix this. Maybe just nerf stunlocks across the board? Increase cooldowns? Reduce stun duration? idk. it sometimes feels like Blizz doesn't even know what they want this game to be. Unless Brigitte is a pre-emptive answer to a future planned hero like how Orisa was for Doomfist? But, idk.

In addition to all of that (though I doubt she made Reaper "more violent") each of the special enemies in Retribution are sporting stolen Overwatch technology. The big tanky guys(forgot their name) have Reinhardt's rocket sled. The assassins have Tracer's blink and recall. And the snipers have Moira's and Reaper's wraith form.
