Guess I'm not the only one who saw Black Panther as a conflict between traditionalist conservatism and revolutionary internationalism.

it's mind-boggling that there are people out there that actually believe putting employees in direct control of businesses they have no hand or experience in managing or building is a good idea

furthermore, there is no such thing as fair division of value between "workers" and societies, as history has shown that collectivized workers, given enough power, will screw over society for their own personal gain just like corporations do with the same leverage

Did you know there are different races?
*waits for ban*

the boonta eve classic is by far the best race

but in all seriousness, there are a lot more races than people think

the grouping of multiple races into big phenotype-based monoliths is racist

Louisiana has some of the cheapest real estate in the country. There are mansions out there that go for the same price as suburban houses in larger Texas cities. I have no idea how they can't manage to create affordable housing in the outskirts of urban areas. Corruption?

TopicTrump changes CIS mission statement: USA is no longer a nation of immigrants..

It's obviously being more inclusive; not all of us came here as immigrants.

Calling America a nation of immigrants a privileged notion that whitewashes the experiences of Native Americans who have lived here since prehistory and black folk like myself whose ancestors were brought here as slaves (see: not as immigrants).

is ALS the one that's also called Lou Gehrig's or is that something else

It sure is. TC wanted to talk about the disease and not the bible or baseball babble though. So stay with us here.

This kind of posting is really annoying.

This, Lou Gehrig's Disease is a nickname for the disease that's perhaps better known among laymen than ALS itself.

Yeah putting Trump as the bottom means this study is biased garbage. Trump's obviously a bottom 10, but he hasn't done anything actively BAD yet, other than piss off an extremely vocal segment of the population. He's just a loud do-nothing idiot. I mean, James Buchannan, Herbert Hoover, Andrew Johnson and Jimmy Carter were all presidents for Christ's sake.

The monetary policy that drove the Roaring Twenties was a hot potato dirty bomb that Hoover had the misfortune of inheriting. Trump inherited a similar one, he just doesn't know it yet. Carter, similar, just less decisive.

Not so well versed on the Andrew Johnson administration, but I'm legitimately curious whether he was as bad as he was made out to be, or if the Radical Republicans just wrote the history books as such.

Buchanan was somewhat naive, but he also inherited a bit of a time bomb with the 1860 election being the remnants of the lit fuse.
