This, I was waiting in the parking lot of my local theater for it to open up so I could buy tickets, and I watched at least three separate older black ladies and men who drove up to the theater checking to see if it was open. I can only imagine they were going to see Black Panther. How much is the movie making at this point? I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks some records. You basically have the bulk of people who love Marvel/Superhero movies going to see it. Then add in a lot of young black people who want to go see it because they feel it represents them on screen, whether or not they even care about superhero movies.
