Here's a question since I couldn't be fucked to keep up with the lore after WC3

Assuming damn near everyone not crazy rebels, how bad is Lich King Arthas after the end of The Frozen Throne? Could he use any of our dead already in the ground to start raising a traditional Scourge army to reinforce him? On his own, how much modern-day ordnance could he just tank, how much magical devastation can he throw back?

He has fundamentally unlimited power in terms of raising dead. He can use a fresh corpse, an old corpse, he can use several corpses stitched together, he can take random bones and make a monster out of it, he can mix animal and human corpses, he can raise magical undead things like dragons, etc.

And shit like nukes not only won't hurt him, they'll just add to his army.

Sounds like a yes to a WC3 style Scourge force. Ghouls, probably spellcasters given magical power by him, Abominations from multiple bodies, crazy shit to substitute for his normal creatures from wildlife. He might not have wild shit like undead Dragons but who's to say he can't raise dinosaurs? A bunch of T-Rex's charging your lines that don't care how many bullets you put in them on the way because they're undead would be fucking savage.

I can see that getting out of control fast enough to limit the ability to directly target him with heavy firepower. And like you said with the nuke, anything he tanks just aids him if it causes massive collateral damage. Moar bodies :p

Yes. The IsoDidact fired the array and ended the war. He was another Forerunner (Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting) who Didact imprinted himself on to become a perfect copy before he completely lost it. IsoDidact maintained all of the originals good traits, while UrDidact tried to hold on to them but pretty much spiralled into insane rage after his second encounter with the Primordial. Hence why the Librarian in 3's terminals treats him like the person who has always been her lover - for all intents and purposes, he's the same person.

IIRC one of the terminals that contains a message from a son to a father as the son goes off to war is theorized to be from Bornstellar/IsoDidact to his father shortly before firing the array

I was actually watching a video not long ago that made a pretty good case for Halo 5's campaign being unfinished, where the end of the game we got should've been more like the halfway point, and that the E3 trailer with Chief in a poncho being confronted by a Guardian in a desert probably took place on *Halo Wars 2 spoilers* Installation 04C - the replacement Halo that Professor Anders rides through slipspace on to escape the Ark and contact the UNSC to reinforce the Spirit of Fire, which ends with the installation being prematurely forced out of slipspace, and ends with a scene of Anders being confronted by a Guardian on the Halo's surface

Why? Every cop you talk to will know someone who got killed in the line of duty, I have a friend who died in a simple traffic stop. This isn't CE pretend land where he has the article to next day to study.

If a cop knows someone who was killed in the of duty more then likely they either had a car accident or the dead from work related illness. Relatively speaking cops are rarely shot or stabbed to death on duty. Note this does not mean it doesn't happen , just rare given the number of police there are in America.
