Yesterday I was playing pokemon go at work. A lapras showed up in the office. It ran away. It was the first one I had ever encountered in the wild. I should have been devastated. The only other one I had a chance to catch was a raid like a year ago and I failed. I wasn't devastated though. It was my first encounter. I had already hatched a lapras, so I got the dex entry... the day before yesterday.

Case and point... I've been feeling like timing is a ridiculous and contentious aspect of the universe for a long time now, but at this point, I'm willing to give it the award for Most Whimsical Entity in Reality.

Thats called the voice of god. You can get better at hearing it if you hone your skills. Not everyone is so blessed

No. The great thing about Morrowind is that it has game mechanics that are long dead. People like Morrowind for the game and what it brought (No leveled mobs, no random loot, no bull shit like that), being IN the world

And all of that stuff is great, no sarcasm. If they could remake the game merely with updated graphics, modernized in-world combat (ffs just have your skill level affect the damage output), and maybe some expanded voice acting, it'd be paradise.

Sort of, I guess. There was a poster here who contacted me wanting to online date. I really had no idea what I was doing, or even if they really were who they claimed to be, so I was hesitant to commit to "dating" them. It ended badly, with her accusing me harassing her and hurting her, then threatening to tell everyone here that I was a lying, manipulative, scumbag and turn you all against me. I told her I'd just post the screenshots of her messages, the ones where she went off on me for literally no reason and any showing the "manipulation" I'd used on her.

I eventually just had to stop talking with her. That account is now closed, but I suspect they're still here somewhere and that it was likely just someone trolling me in the end.
