And a show like TTG is also easy to write for because there is no actual plot, each episode is just nonsense with no narrative structure.

The TTG staff is actually well aware of the fact that their show is stupid nonsense that only exists because it's cheaply produced and quick to pump out en mass.

I tried out the new Jurassic World game cause I heard it was similar to Pokemon Go and I deleted it within half an hour, the thing is just a nonstop barrage of trying to make you watch ads, buy currency to reduce cooldown timers, and a constant reminder to sign up for the monthly recurring charge VIP program that lets you catch dinosaurs from further away on the map

I can't stand mobile games. 99.99% of them are horrible

Most mobile games are just fishing for suckers who are willing to pump money into a cheaply made game (often more money than a full priced game), which there are unfortunately enough of to make it a booming business.

I mean, how much could you sell a Rampage game for in 2018.

Like Gauntlet, a game I also enjoyed back in the day, it was primarily a mindless arcade game designed to eat quarters.

When you purchased the home version the only difference was you had infinite lives so you didn't need keep feeding the game quarters to reach the end of the game.

You would need to revolutionize the game in some way if you wanted to sell it for a decent price.

I say mobile, but that may be because people on mobile are usually not passionate about the game enough be also be angry at other people over it (not that it makes sense to be angry over other people having different opinions anyway).

Complex stories are fine, I've never had a problem following complex stories, but it's not the deciding factor to if a story is good.

What determines if a story is good is if the characters are well written.

You can get away with a basic plot if the characters are well written.

No matter how "amazingly written" your plot is, it will still be terrible if the characters are all poorly written.

"Hype Channels" referring to a channel were a person or group of people are always, always, positive and excited about a certain subject.

For example, there are movie hype channels, where people have over the top, ecstatic reactions to watching movie trailers, than always give the movies great reviews (usually the AAA ones)

Or Nintendo or Call of Duty "Hype Channels" (as an example of video game based ones) where the people there are always super positive and excited over any information or subject involving those topics, never negative.

I read that Terry Crews said he felt bad for lying to his fans about the amount of his involvement with Deadpool 2, how difficult it was to keep the secret from being found out (he wore blankets around to hide his identity), but he felt the payoff of the joke was worth it in the end.

The movie actually has a massive amount of foreshadowing which I didn't catch while watching the film but read about afterward.

Intentionally shoot footage of characters performing actions they did not perform in the actual film to put in trailers and marketing to pull off a joke in the movie?



I'm not talking about when movies show something in trailers but it's not in the actual movie because the movie went through tons of reshoots that took those segments out, I mean it being done on purpose to pull off an in movie joke.

We hear the complaint all the time, "they showed all the good parts in the trailers already", but this is the first time I'm aware of in which a movie intentionally showed something that doesn't happen in a trailer so you don't expect what actually happens in the movie.

If you don't know what I'm talking about it's how Deadpool puts together an X-Force Team to help him rescue someone, this was also pretty widely shown in advertisements, however unlike in the trailer and advertisements in which you see some of them fighting on the ground, most of the X-Force team members Deadpool puts together never actually get a chance to fight as they all die within a few minutes of being introduced after they attempt to skydive to the location of their target on a windy day to a target location in the middle of an active city, which is actually a lot harder and more dangerous then is portrayed in most actions movies which usually show everyone always perfectly landing wherever they wanted to land not matter what the conditions are.

I know the topic already has spoilers on it, I just wanted to be safe in case someone was reading this but decided they didn't want the joke to be spoiled for them after all.

He burned down a tree using lightning while dead as a ghost that Luke was going to burn down anyway while for some reason acting like the crazy Yoda that he pretended to be when he was testing Luke when he first met him.

Rey stole the books already yes, but that also made the entire "book burning" scene pointless as the whole point of Yoda burning down the tree was to show Luke that the books don't have meaning, which is a symptom of the movie being poorly written as whole.

The 3DS and some of Nintendo's other handheld's lower corners cut into your hands if you have large hands.

They're designed for, I assume, Japanese people who generally are smaller and have smaller hands.

Typically, the larger re-releases of these consoles are comfier for people with larger hands.

If you didn't already know what you hear depends on how old you are.

As you get older you lose the ability to perceive certain frequencies.

I saw this on a show on Discovery before this Laurel or Yanny thing became a thing, but shown much more practically by simply showing you a series of sounds at different frequencies one after the other and matching it with your approximate age.

All they had to do was allow you to choose which types of topics you didn't want to see instead of only showing one type of topic at a time.

Same system, but you highlight all the categories you want to see, and it doesn't show you the one's you didn't highlight, and it saves your preferences per board.

That said, I don't know what the point of a "completely off topic" flair would be, at best there should be a "related subject" or "segued subject" flair for, for example, talking about the Pokemon anime on the Pokemon game board, or talking about Twilight Princess on the Breath of the Wild board.

If the games are going to be combat focused like Skyrim they really need to do something to make the combat system more interesting. The combat is Skyrim is just really, really simple, but there is a lot of it.

The show jumped the shark when Hyde broke up with Jackie (funny considering they literally did a joke about jumping the shark).

It was all downhill from there, major members of the cast started leaving and the show fell apart.

What if you, as a cop, are given the call to arrest someone for public drunkenness, and it turns out to be your wife.

Jokes aside from all the cases I've seen involving body cameras the police apparently have the right to refuse handing over body camera footage, and if they do hand it over have the right to heavily edit it first, so body camera laws seem to be meaningless.

Some of these ideas are cool but impractical so they kind of come off as gimmicks.

Using the camera with an AR guide to help direct you while using the GPS Guidance system would be murder on your battery for example.

I'm already turning my screen off regularly when using Google Maps because the GPS being used by itself is a huge battery drain.

Can't wait for self driving cars to be a regular thing though (not that I believe it's happening anytime soon).

For the last few days I've seen some of the imgur links as broken while others showed as pictures like normal, and now instead of that they don't show the file extension after being posted with the file extention, and just show as a link.

It's a commonly heard opinion that people who were huge fans of GoW 1-3 aren't really big fans of GoW 2018 because it's too different from what they liked about the old games.

Batman can defeat literally anyone with prep time. That's his gimmick. His solution doesn't necessarily even make sense, but it works.

I certainly had problems, but I didn't hate the game when I was done with it. Not my favorite Zelda game for sure, but not horrible.

3 biggest issues with the game.

First and foremost, the game is heavily focused around the motion control combat, but the combat was exceedingly boring. Almost none of your items are useful for combat, so the boring motion control sword combat is all you do for basically the entire game. Also, the motion controls were not always responsive, you try to parry and it doesn't come out, a lot.

The game lies to you about how the motion controls work to get you to think they are more accurate than they really are. The game is not reading you 1:1 at all, all it's really reading is if you flick the Wiimote and which direction your holding it, it can't actually read your swings. Oddly enough, you fight enemies that block the direction your sword is facing fairly early, and unless you know how the Wiimote is actually reading your inputs, the only way to defeat these enemies is to stand up and do a 360 degree spin in real life in the reverse direction the enemy is blocking, which is ridiculous.

Game hand holds you to a comical extent. It's more the game telling you what to place where than you solving anything yourself.

Not a top 3 issue but there is a lot of required back tracking to pad the already very long run time of the game in which the main component of the game isn't that fun.

For pads I just prefer the PS4 controller.

I don't like the feel of the Xbox one.

And the Switch ones are inferior as a pad, while the joy cons are doing their own thing when not being a pad, but the only game I've seen so far that makes decent use of the Switch controllers unique properties is the Senran Kagura game.
