Here's the thing about Jelly Doughnuts.

While Jelly Doughnut are conceptually good, doughnuts themselves have a very short time where their flavor is at their peak, about half an hour right after they come out of the fryer.

But to fill a doughnut with jelly, you must wait for the doughnut to cool first otherwise the jelly would liquefy after you pipe it into the doughnut.

So while Jelly Doughnuts can be good, they can't be as good as fresh Doughnuts.

Max isn't portrayed as specifically lonely though, she doesn't have a group of friends she travels everywhere with but she's not an outcast. The only people that specifically don't like Max is Victoria and her colleagues.

Yes, Chloe's family was like a second family to Max, when they were kids. That was a long time ago.

Like I said though, Max didn't even know Chloe was there, wasn't thinking about her, and even though she had been back in town for a while she never even attempted to visit Chloe.

And when she goes to the alternate time line where she is part of the popular group and friends with Victoria, all Max can think about is running back to Chloe.

Personally, I didn't really like Life is Strange. The whole story revolves around Max's obsession with saving Chloe, but I didn't like Chloe, and the story additionally never gave any justification for why Max was so specifically obsessed with saving Chloe over almost anything else. She meets Chloe by accident after not being in contact with and not even thinking about Chloe for years and suddenly Chloe is her obsession.

Unless there is some wild technology by than that makes the viewing experience different I'm pretty worn out on movie remakes and the reusing of the same IPs.

Obviously, atmosphere is important for these type of games, but this topic assumes the atmosphere is good.

There are many horror games like this for example, where your player character is often not allowed any option other than to just run and hide when a threat appears.

Sometimes, this isn't really even justified, as there isn't a given reason why you don't even try attacking or being proactive about the threat, and the threat isn't portrayed as something that can't be attacked.

Or there are other games where your character is unrealistically weak which is where the difficulty of the game comes from and why certain things are a threat at all.

Given, games where you are not allowed to engage the threat at all are not my personal cup of tea, I'm okay with games like Resident Evil 7 where you can fight but your resources for doing so are limited so you never feel like you're safe, or a game like (the original) F.E.A.R. where you were an amazing badass but the enemies were such a threat comparison that the game still had a horror element (when combined with the atmosphere).

It's funny you mention Despicable Me because this Grinch trailer looks pretty much like the original Despicable Me, about a guy who's an arse but as we all know by the end of the Grinch story he's not "evil" anymore, same as Despicable Me.

Activision patented a matchmaking formula that is designed to intentionally match you up against people of superior equipment and skill to encourage you to purchase balance effecting micro transactions (like loot boxes), and match you up against people if inferior equipment and skill after making a purchase to make you feel like your purchase was worth it.

Nintendo has every reason to want people to think it's Smash 5.

If they just straight said it's Smash 5, the reception would have been immensely positive, and gamers would be in a frenzy.

Because they were ambiguous, most people think it's an "enhanced port".

So either it's a port, or it's supposed to be Smash 5 but Nintendo is a complete failure at marketing that clearly.

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright

It even admits in the epilogue that the terrible ending twist doesn't really make sense. It was horrible. It was essentially the "it was all a dream" ending but even worse and more convoluted.

There were problems with the story before (coming to the conclusion that "magic can't be real" when both the protagonists have partners with magical powers and one of those powers is integral to the plot), but the ending straight ruined the game.

I went to see Snowden with a friend but almost feel asleep (friend woke me) because of all the drawn out parts about his relationship with his girlfriend which I really didn't care about. At least 1/2 of the movie is about his rocky relationship with his girlfriend due to his work to the point it felt like I was watching a romance drama (which is not what I went in to watch).

The main different between the S8 and S9 is an allegedly faster processor and a much better camera.

HL3 will never be released because Valve is making money hand over fist for doing practically nothing with Steam and there is no justification to put forth the effort of making a large AAA game.

Not limited to Capcom owned studios of course, this question assumes they would be willing to outsource the project to a studio they don't own.

It's fine.

It basically had everything you could ask for in a smartphone other than a removable battery at the time of release (which does mean that after about 2 years you have to replace the phone because the battery will be pretty bad by then). That said, more high end phones these days seem to be going with a non removable battery than with a removable battery.

The fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone is in an awkward position, much higher than it should be, which they sort of fixed in the S9 which is coming out in a few weeks.

The curved edge screen is not an improvement over a flat screen in my opinion but it's not a deal breaker.

Getting a case is practically mandatory because the phone is really slippery.

Of course, I think the only phones in competition with Samsung for higher pricing are Apple made ones. Although since the S9 is coming out soon I expect the S8's price will drop.

I don't claim to be a Lord of the Rings lore expert, but how far away do you need to be from the Ring to not be effected by it? Lots of people hang out around Frodo are aren't effected by the Ring, can't you just carry it in a very large bag to keep it a good distance from yourself while transporting it?

Eureka Seven is boring, it gets bloody and intentionally tries to be disturbing, but I don't think that by itself makes an anime interesting.

So you get a lot of playing it safe,and rehashes of the same thing.

Spirit Tracks is much better than Phantom Hourglass but it still has a version of the Temple of the Ocean King, but it's not as bad.

Having Zelda as a partner is an interesting part of the story.

The train navigating is mostly boring but it's not game ruining.

This is coming from someone who hated Phantom Hourglass but really enjoyed Spirit Tracks.

Um, no. Pitbulls originally were bred to be protective family dogs. They used to be called "nanny dogs." The fact that they are so strong led them to be bred larger and stronger because people wanted to take advantage of that negatively.

Hmm. On Dog Whisperer, he said Pit Bulls were for dog fighting, which they were bred for and used for, but looking it up on sites now it says their name actually derives from when they used Pit Bulls to fight Bulls (as in male cows) for entertainment.

Although both of these activities take place in a pit.

This "nanny dog" thing apparently came after blood sports with dogs were both outlawed and dropped in popularity, but it's apparently being argued to be a myth.
