Death Note was like 6 years past its prime for this kind of contest. While some shows will retain some lengthy prestige, Death Note seems to just fade with all the bad content that came out after the anime.

I think its also going to drop down a number of priority lists next year The Promised Neverland showcases itself. Kinda like how My Hero Academia has eaten other Battle Shonen's lunches.

Can someone tell me why there's a particular disdain for Elgin, especially among American fans? I don't get it. Every match I've seen from him this year has been good to very good. And his match a few years ago with Naito was exceptional.

Because he was RoHs Roman Reigns for a hot minute and people never forgave him.

That may have been true before, but Elgin recovered everyone's love after a couple of good G1 runs.

The issue with Fate content, is how voters are split on Zero and UBW and HF not counting.

If everything Fate was grouped under one umbrella like Monogatari it might do better, but it just makes more sense to have this stuff split like Dragon Ball/Z/Super.

I think this was Belgium's best shot at the world cup, Euros they still have something of a chance.

A lot of their big name leaders will either be phased out or past their prime come next world cup.

What Belgium needs to avoid is what happened to Holland. Some of those Dutch teams were insanely stacked with talent but fell apart and ultimately achieved nothing.

Just one more match left, it's taken a long time to get back to this stage, erasing the disappointment of 06 and 16 is what matters most.
