How have you been feeling between treatments? Are you completely out of work right now?

So usually the way it goes is

Day 1 - Chemo. I come home and feel gross. Start taking my nausea meds before bed.

Day 2 and 3 - On my nausea meds and getting hydration. Feeling pretty damn tired.

Day 4 - Still tired but starting to feel better

Day 5 - More or less back to normal. Eating normal and going outside for walks/driving again.

Then I'm all good until my next chemo. Mentally there's some bad days tossed in. But I find keeping busy helps. My house is in the country so there's tons of places to walk and hike. I try to run errands whenever. And I make a point to have at least one plan with someone at least once a day, whether it's hanging out with friends, going for dinner with family, having my dad come over to help with the house, etc.

In answer to your other question I'm not working right now unfortunately. The nature of my work (film and video) necessitates being around groups or in enclosed spaces or handling lots of shared objects, which isn't a good idea. Trying to start working from home though.
