I've never been rejected. I've never tried.

But I can't imagine I would EVER do a self-publishing, it's just strikes me as a very bad attitude. I would do a traditional publishing. But trying to get published still looks scary, I guess.

Since I started writing, I've written 15 books. 12 novels, and 3 short story collections. I've never made any move to get them published at all. Do you think I should?

I mean, I'd love to be a professional writer. The only thing that stops me is some kind of strange fear in the my mind. I guess I don't want to start sending out letters and making phone calls. I'd have to get an agent. Is this strange?

Back in the day, i.e. 2009, I played through at least half of the game. Now, I can't beat Level 1 - 1. I kept dying on that group of enemies at the end (I think it's the end).

This is a bad thing, right?

I thought about it, but World and 64 are both there. I mean, Super Mario 64 blew the lid of gaming. It was just like, wtf. I still remember getting my N64, with a grey and gold controller, and Super Mario 64 (and Wetrix), and how amazing those first few days were.

That is irrelevant when it comes to its impact on gaming. I think it will leave a significant historic mark on gaming. I've never even played it.

Significant impact? It's barely been out for anytime at all, it's much too soon to tell. It could just be a flash in the pan. Or a game that has a small impact, but certainly not a significant or major impact.

I think those are pretty much the super heavyweights of gaming, due to various reasons. Impact upon release, or units sold, or how much they influenced later games. I think that's actually a pretty good list. I can't think of any serious omissions, and whether I like each of those games or not, I can't really deny how major they are.

I got it. Just played the first hour or so of Olberic's story.

Olberic is the standard "failed knight seeking to avenge his slain king" character, so far.

I like him, but I've been considering starting over with Cyrus or Ophelia instead.

I really wouldn't bother unless you really, really don't like Olberic in your party (he *is* strong). You can recruit and do the story for every character in one playthrough. Just the character you start as is locked as your main person permanently and you can't switch them out.

I said one video game looked pointless, not all of them.

I have DR1 and 2 for the XBox 360, and have plenty of hours on both of them. If I had to guess, though, I'd say it's been at least 5 years since I played either. I dunno, I wouldn't mind playing again, and I still own both of them.

I never got a chance to play DR3, which was sad, and it looked like a lot of fun. I remember the talk of DR4 being a clusterfuck, and although I didn't play it, based on certain core gameplay elements being removed, it was probably pretty bad.

I think in a way, the series went on too long. 2 games were fine, 3 would've been decent, but more was too much. There's only so much you can do with zombie outbreaks in random American towns, you know? Some of the spinoff stuff, like Off The Record, was ridiculous.

Gah. I remember how hard I found the boss fights in the original were, when I first played it, without having yet leveled up much. So tough.

Want to share your thoughts on the series?

2nd speedrun - about 4 hours, ten minutes

The first one was pretty damned stupid, but the second one was decent. I was pleased. I must admit, it isn't the most fun game to speedrun, although it was kinda fun, but I don't really intend to spend time in the future doing more speedruns.

You know, I never actually 100%ed it. I found it a struggle later on, and wasn't having much fun. Still a very good game, though.

For about 2 hours, I was without electricity.

I didn't realise at first, thinking the microwave just wasn't working, then I discovered the TV wasn't working either. For quite a while, I just sat there eating my dinner in silence, thinking it was a power cut, until I thought maybe it was to do with the trip switch. After spending a moment trying to remember where the hell the trip switch was, I opened it up. I didn't understand half of what I was looking at (lulz), but I found several switches that were in the "off" position, and changed them to "on".

Voila, I have electricity again. Kinda annoyed that it took me so long to realise it might be the trip switch, and fix it there. It wouldn't have mattered so much during the early afternoon or whatever, because I could've sat outside and read, but I must admit, I didn't feel like I had much to do by the early evening or whenever.

Is it bad that i can barely entertain myself or do anything without electricity? Or is this common for a person living in the West? Should I be reflected on this more? Anyway, I have electricity now, which is good.

I've completed it previously, but never 100%ed. This was a completion speedrun. When I originally played through the main part of this game (back in late 2016), it took me 10+ hours to do. I was hoping for the speedrun to be a lot faster. Well, the speedrun took about 6 hours and 10 minutes. Pretty bad, huh? Not completely dreadful, but still sad. I kept getting confused by puzzles, making mistakes, and I wasn't even that efficient, on many occasions returning to levels to get another gem or gems.

This wasn't like one of my B-K speedruns or Rayman: Legends speedruns, that's for sure, especially B-K. What do people think of it?

2 - Use of guns.
3 - No putting soldiers in private homes in peacetime, and not too much in wartime, either.
4 - No unreasonable searches.
5 - You don't have to answer questions in court.

15 - All people, including former slaves and / or black people, have rights.
18 - No making or selling alcohol.
21 - Repealing the 18th Amendment.
22 - Presidents can serve no more than 2 terms as president.
25 - If the president dies, the vice president takes over.
