It's not in any particular order, except rough order I watched them in. I won't bother with a to 10, but I'll tell you some of my favourites.

Cries and Whispers
Brewster McCloud
Images
HealtH
Suzanne
The Amityville Horror 2
Loving Vincent
Three Billboards
The Last Jedi
I, Tonya
How To Talk To Girls at Parties
My Soul To Take
Christine
The Fog
Black Hollow Cage

Some of those are pretty well-known, many are obscure to people who aren't film buffs.

I hardly play any RPGs, but I spent about 35 hours playing through that back in 2007, and really enjoyed it. Beautiful graphics, generally really good characters, and the gameplay was pretty good. I didn't much like the last bits of the game, though.

Lmao "meant to"? According to who

I dunno. I guess it's the prevailing social trend. I remember about 13 or 14 years ago, at several jobs I used to work, my so-workers (many of whom were very backward), used to make fun of my hair all the time. Although, it's become more socially acceptable since then, and the people I've met over the years since then haven't generally been backward.

Unless I've missed some, which is possible.

What do you think of them? I've seen a lot of classics this year for the first time, including the mainstream classics, like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Die Hard, and the classics mostly just known to film buffs, like Cries and Whispers, and Persona. I've seen plenty of other random stuff, too. I suppose I've mostly focused on Bergman, Altman, Carpenter, and Korosowa...at least 3 of which are pretty good directors. Have you seen many of these films?

Sounds like a lot of dodgy and illegal stuff happened, plus people and a local society weren't treated very well. I guess that will put a person off Catholicism for life.

It's sad the sheer amount of corruption the Catholic church has had over the years. Even the 20th and 21st centuries have been pretty bad. The Vatican Bank has had a lot of problems.

Yes and it depends but usually no.

My grandparents/aunts/mother were big time old fashioned catholics. Heavily involved, went to every function. Every prayer, church came first.
For whatever reason my brothers and I just didn't buy into it 100%. And there's only so much church you can take before you're sick of it by age 12. Not unless you personally get something out of going, out of the sermons. And that's the big problem the church has. That's why a lot of these new churches are seeing explosive growth and the catholic church in the US isn't. They have preachers that connect with you versus that being very rare with us. If you can understand these current third world priests at all that is. Money, money, money. The bishop wants more money. That's the long and short of every sermon. And it's like fuck him! And fuck you too!

We had a massive scandal in our parish. Not the molestation thing but a financial/property one. Due to how involved we were we saw behind the curtain so to speak. Saw how the sausage was made. The lies, the manipulation, the attitude, the back stabbing, the removals if priests that didn't fall in line with the lies. That is actually what did it for us. mother and aunts included. Grandparents had already passed by then. We rarely if ever go now. I just can't stomach it. Having to hear the bs about money. The praise of that pos rotten mother fucking bishop that I truly wish every horror in life upon. That sob.

Sounds very bad. What exactly happened? Was the corruption that bad? Anyone end up in prison?

I don't know about "really social", but I was reasonably social between about 21 - 23. After that, I dunno, I had hardly any friends, and nothing much has changed in 10 years. Depressing, huh? I'd say a 9 is just right. I love games being extremely hard, but sometimes a game goes a little too far. don't get me wrong, 10s can be a lot of fun, but I think a 9 is better. 8s are often a lot of fun. Lower than that, and a game is generally not as much fun.

This is in no particular order, and it's doubtful this is a comprehensive list (lol). Let's see.

1. I don't drive a car.

2. I'm well over the age of 25, but am still stuck living at home with my family.

3. I've never worked better than a minimum wage job.

4. I don't have a degree.

5. I have no idea what kind of "credit score" I have, and don't even know what that phrase means.

6. I still have a debit card, rather than a credit card.

7. I don't understand a bunch of stuff related to banking and personal finances.

8. I don't look after my health very well.

9. I don't feel confident enough to take a train, coach, etc. to another town or city by myself.

10. I would rather spend money on fun things, rather than save any money for the far future (although I saved up a lot when I was younger).

11. I still have long hair, when men are meant to have short hair.

12. I have little prospects of working better than a minimum wage job in the next 5 years, if ever.

13. I don't much care what other adults think of me.

14. I spend too much time around the house.

15. When I leave the house, I have almost nowhere to go.

16. I don't care that much when bad things happen in the news, on the contrary, I find it somewhat entertaining.

17. I'm not as obsessed with money as society might wish.

18. I'm not as obsessed with the opposite sex as society might wish.

19. I don't respect authority.

20. I have an active contempt for authority.

21. I don't have many serious plans for the future.

22. I'm not considered politically conservative enough for my country, the UK.

23. I think there's nothing wrong with being lazy at certain times.

24. I have a certain amount of contempt for companies.

25. I don't care what my parents think about me, and don't "perform" for them.

26. I don't pretend to agree with my peers.

27. I've had several quite long periods of unemployment.

28. I often prefer alternate entertainment to populist entertainment.

29. I still think lists, like this one, are cool.

30. I hate stupid people.

31. I don't suck up to the popular people, to get ahead at a job, be popular in a social group, etc.

32. I don't worry too much about my appearance.

I have so many deficiencies, that other adults don't generally have. So, so sad. ;_; Perhaps the bigger problem is that I don't have the means to fix many of them any time soon, and worse than that (according to society), some of them I don't even really perceive as problems.

What does CE think of all this? Which problems should I be most embarrassed about?
