We had bats in one of our apartments growing up. Funny thing is my mom fell in love with the place partly because it had pocket doors between the living and dining room. That's where the bats came in. They were in the walls and they would come in through the spaces around the pocket doors lol

My mother was deathly afraid of them so she used to have me catch them and release them outside. Had a pretty good system after a few tries. Used a broom and a bucket and a towel. I'd knock them down with the broom, throw a towel over them, then the bucket. Never got bit, never killed a bat.

He has a good point, but... man, he really padded that out. Could've made that video a minute long. Brief introduction; relay the fact that AtGames is making the new mini-console; show the audio quality clips from the prior console; wrap it up. The part where he whines about the shitty photoshop job on their website is kinda petty.

He's a bit annoying, but not grating. And he has a good message to get out. I wasn't aware AtGames was behind the new mini, or that the quality of the other minis was so abysmal. I probably wasn't going to buy the MegaMini in the first place, but now I definitely won't.

A fair number of people are looking at Daemon X Machina as being a sort of successor to Armored Core.

Miyazaki confirmed like a year ago or so that a new Armored Core was in the very early stages of development. Might hear something by 2020.

Oh yeah I agree with that. Wasn't so much advocating for the torture scene to be censored so much as I was pointing out how I personally respond to different depictions of violence.

Another example would be some of the trials Ethan goes through in Heavy Rain. Felt bad for that dude. But the next day I'm delighted to be stomping demons into pulp in Doom.

Also, I wouldn't so much say I've "built a collection" so much as I would say I've "amassed a large amount of games" over time.

Never set out with the goal of having a collection. These are all games I want to play to some capacity. Lots of them I'll play for 10 minutes and move on, but almost all of them are appealing enough to me to want to play them and perhaps finish them.

Realistic violence? Sure. Exaggerated? Eh.

Couple quick examples jumped out at me that corroborate this.

The torture scene in GTA V makes me uncomfortable. Mowing down endless thugs? No prob! Gratuitously torture one dude? Please, no. Make it stop!

The x-ray kills in Sniper Elite never cease to entertain me, but the fact that I'm popping scumbag Nazi skulls probably helps assuage my guilt.

Recently, with the new God of War, encountered a "wulver" (basically a werewolf), and pulled off a finishing blow that was so spectacularly violent that I just about giggled when I saw it. But once I'd done this particular move three or four times, I almost felt bad for the poor creature that was going about its day, trying to devour Kratos' guts.

tbh Tim Burton's movies are not very diverse in regards to acting. I don't think I would've remembered Billie Dee if it hadn't been posted. Never saw that Miss Peregrine movie.

He cast Michael Clarke Duncan in Planet of the Apes, right?

Anyway, does Burton even do his own casting? I'm sure he has a say, but it may be that he's getting a selection of actors that have already been filtered through his casting department. I dunno.

Okay I got it. Really liking it. Heard the story takes 25 hours on normal? I find that hard to believe.

I tend to explore a lot even in linear games, so my completion times are usually on the longer side. That said, I just got to the base of the mountain and my brother who's beaten it says I'm not even halfway through the game. Been playing well over 10 hours I'd say.

It's a lot different from the original trilogy, but it's easily my favorite in the series. I think if you're expecting "classic" God of War you may be disappointed, but since you've never played one I'd say watch some gameplay videos and if you like what you see then give it a shot. Combat is a lot of fun, and the game is a visual and auditory treat.

Per CDPR. E3 trailer had a hidden message:

Its been over 2077 days since we announced our plan to develop Cyberpunk 2077. We released a CGI trailer, gave some interviews and went dark. Normal procedure for these kinds of things you announce a game and then shut up, roll up your sleeves and get to work. We wanted to give you the Witcher 3 and both expansions first, which is why this period of staying silent was longer than we planned. Sorry for that.

As soon as we concluded work on Blood and Wine, we were able to go full speed ahead with CP2077s pre-production. But we chose to remain silent. Why? At she point we made the decisions to resume talking about the game when we have something to show. Something meaningful and substantial. This is because we do realize youve been impatiently waiting for a very long time, and we wouldnt like anyone to feel that were taking this for granted. On the contrary it gives us a lot of extra motivation. The hype is real, so the sweat and tears need to be real, too :)

But to the point. Today is the day. If youre seeing this, it means you saw the trailer. - our vision for Cyberpunk, an alternative version of the future where America is in pieces, megacorporations control all aspects of civilized life, and gangs rule the rest. And, while this world is full of adrenaline, dont let the car chases and guns mislead you. Cyberpunk 2077 is a true single player, story-driven RPG. Youll be able to create your own character and well, youll get to know the rest of what show at our booth at E3. Be on the lookout for the previews!

Before we finish, you probably have some questions,

1. When?

When we told you we would only release the game when its ready, we meant it. Were definitely much closer to a release date than we were back then ;) but its still not the time to confirm anything, so patience is still required. Quality is the only thing that drives us. Its the beauty of being an independent studio and your own publisher.

2. How big?

Seriously big, but to be honest, we have no bloody clue at this point in time. Once we put it all together, we will openly tell you what you can expect. And we promise well do this before we start talking about pre-orders or ask anything of you.

3. Free DLC/Expansions/DRM

Expect nothing less than you got with The Witcher 3. As for DRM, CP2077, will be 100% DRM-free on PC.

4. Microtransactions?

In a single player role-playing game? Are you nuts?

May have been mostly games, but nothing to buy a xbone over. All of the best stuff shown I'll be able to get on pc or my ps4. I've been waiting for years now for Microsoft to step up their game and build some new franchises, but it's the same s*** every year. People like to accuse Nintendo of doing the same, but at least they've got more than 3 series to do it with and still make a new one every now and again. Sony would only have to show one new "must have" exclusive and they'll trump MS. I loved my 360, but they've done f*** all since.

I'm not saying it's convinced me to buy an Xbone, either. All I'm saying is that it was a solid showcase of games, and anyone saying they'e lost E3 already is saying so prematurely and showing their bias. We haven't seen Nintendo or Sony's stuff, yet. Maybe Sony knocks it out of the park with some surprise games. Maybe Nintendo shows some Metroid Prime 4 and melts everyone's collective mind. Who knows? But I'm certainly not going to say MS lost just yet, and the fact they had such a solid showing means they have a fair chance of pulling this one out.
