I've often thought about forgetting about everything and moving off to become a monk.

I have no explanation for it-- I live a perfectly happy life by most standards. I'm married to a beautiful lady, have a great paying programmer job for a Forbes 500 company, and no kids yet while I work to enjoy the moment and pay off my debt while I save up for a house. I do whatever the hell I want on weekends and enjoy life.

Sometimes I get majorly depressed at the thought of living inside a matrix or as a slave race, and it probably drives my wife nuts even though she knows I'd never do anything to lose her trust. I've been open about it and she gets it.

People who invent free energy and create cures get assassinated. It's sad. I don't hate humans, but I hate that overall we are abused and misled. Those who destroy knowledge for self gain are the scum of the earth.

Edit: obviously I'd never act on the moving off to become a monk bit. That would be an incredibly selfish act. But the thought happens.

This is going to sound horrible, as I have an extremely happy life, but sleep is so peaceful sometimes that I wouldn't be disappointed if I just never woke up.

Not a suicidal post by any means, I love my life, but pain is just nonexistent in dreams. There's no denying the euphoria that comes from it, so it's a very real feeling. The body is an amazing vehicle, but even as an atheist, I'm excited for the quantum. Everything feels one. The mind is like a fraction of all consciousness. We could all be living characters.

Environment influences our thoughts, feelings, and logic. Our messed up world makes sense when you look at who benefits. They have created a system that keeps us at each other's throats instead of rising to our full potential.

For fuck's sake, why isn't government putting free math courses up on official websites-- a subject with fundamentals that RARELY change-- for people to study and better themselves on? They don't want us to improve. They want us to waste our lives paying them back for services.

The world is a big fucking pissing match between a bunch of old geezers who were given a sense of false power through riches. War is stupid, politics are stupid, and this planet is being used.

Rant over. Left vs right is a stupid concept in my opinion for anyone who can get along with others and has the resources to live comfortably.
