No. I like Charlotte more as a "WWE product," but Asuka is better at different things (mostly striking and submissions). Asuka matches feel like she's kicking the shit out of people, while Charlotte is very well-rounded and athletic. They are each good at different things.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that Ronda made the Nia match look good, but just because two wrestlers are great, they might not have the chemistry to back it up (Styles v. Owens for a recent example). The prospect of Ronda versus better opponents is there, but there is no guarantee the matches themselves will be better just because of said name. Odds are slim, but who knows.

It's more about passing the eye test, rather than a booking perspective. Did Ronda feel like a wrestler, rather than CM Punk, who felt like a person pretending at being a fighter and sucking badly? Ronda is already really solid despite some glaring flaws. I think people can look at this and think, "Ok. Most matches from now on are must see affairs," instead of "must miss dumpster fires." The crowd was invested from the word go, and Ronda held her end of the bargain better than anyone could have hoped for.

We saw what happened when good wrestlers (Asuka) go from great wrestlers (Charlotte) to shitty ones (Carmella). The matches suffer, the builds suffer, and by extension, the crowd doesn't give a crap. No one gave Ronda or Nia a chance to be good (or at best) were intrigued by the possibility it could be a carwreck.

The challenge now is ensuring Ronda keeps people invested by NOT putting her in matches unless its monthly/bi-monthly. Do the Brock Lesnar thing, but do it where she actually shows the fuck up. I think that's all people want out of this. Ronda being good is helping the division, because she made Nia look like a million bucks. I can only imagine what Ronda and Charlotte or Ronda and Natalya could do.

I get what you're saying. New Japan and NXT are probably lighting the world on fire, and WWE can't quite match up (your opinion, because I don't watch it: more time constraints than anything). It doesn't stop WWE from putting on great matches.

Also, I'm not being defensive. I don't watch NXT or NJPW. I'm probably missing out, and I can see how it would color my experience if I was watching it. Doesn't stop me from enjoying WWE and what it offers. Rollins is probably the best wrestler on the roster outside of AJ and Bryan right now, and made Elias look amazing. WWE has a lot wrong...a LOT wrong with it, but many of its in-ring parts are not one of them.

Rollins is great, and can work with anyone and get a good match out of them. Cool. Elias, while green, worked his ass off and did great for his limited ring time and skill.

What I like is you describe who you are, give a highlight reel, and you explain what the reward tiers are. The biggest thing is "per month" some Patreons go per song or per video, and I think (as a new Patron myself) that can get confusing. When someone knows you're only paying for one thing one time, it saves them from having to deal with too much.

My only issue might be the higher tiers. Not via content nor what you're asking for. What I wonder is if you're locked into those prices for good, or if you can check those later on and say, "Let's mark them down or up based on demand." Some people are willing to pay crazy amounts during twitch streams. You never know. I wouldn't (because I can't), but you never know.

But what is important is that $1 Donation. You've said, "We'll let Patrons have an impact on our product." That shows a willingness to let people engage with the process, because my assumption is those will be the majority.

So I definitely approve. My criticism of the higher tiers more based on my being cheap, not whether or not I know the market.

She should be proud. Ronda did what many people couldn't do: get a good match out of her. Even Meltzer is like, "I'm not doubting Ronda matches ever again. I wish they'd get her a manager, but she hit Wrestlemania out of the park and did it here with an opponent who is not good at all." Alvarez was trying to argue that people who hate Ronda are still going to hate her (because they are fucking idiots), but Ronda passed the eye test.

I will say Ronda is ridiculously good in the ring for someone with no wrestling experience. She sold like crazy for Nia, almost with Sasha levels of abandon (crazy bumps but more control if that makes any sense). She actually made a Nia match watchable.

MITB was miles better than Backlash, even if it had some stupid booking decisions.

- Bryan beating Big Cass again leads him to AJ/Nakamura/Joe, so that's good
- Lashley hopefully put the death feud TO death for good
- Rollins/Elias was good, though the finish was awkward
- Why does Alexa need MITB?
- Why does Alexa need the title again?
- Chicago decided against cheering for Jinder and instead fell asleep.
- Why was Asuka struck dumb by Ellsworth of all people?
- AJ/Nakamura was amazing and finally got the match they should have...but Nakamura lost
- Ronda is ridiculously good already. She carried Nia to a match people cared about and kept caring about.
- But again, why does Alexa need the title again?
