It was basically tease-central and paced somewhat poorly, BUT....

The amount of stuff they have in the works is impressive. I can't believe how many projects they have concurrently. They must have a lot of personnel.

The important thing is that they covered the bases of not only what everyone was wanting with TESVI, but also had a few surprises in there as well, like with Doom 2.

I give it a solid 8/10

Just needed more show and less tell.

Basically, Nero gets his DB grabbed by a hooded figure who throws him across the room, ripping it off in the process. I was actually watching the conference on someone else's stream and they went through the trouble of slowing it down, brightening it, etc. And you can see that the hooded figure has Vergil's cuffs.

I love the devil may cry series. Probably one of the games I was most excited to see (along with that from soft game).

I think his new look is actually pretty cool.I didn't like how he looked so much like Dante in DMC4. The only thing I'm iffy about is his robot arm. I'm assuming they'll explain it in game, but I liked how in DMC4 the arm was supernatural and not technological.

A weird small thing is that the dodging looked really smooth. I might just be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I hope they made dodging easier or more consistent. This is probably just a personal gripe, but I've never really liked the way you dodge in DMC.

I'll probably buy DMC5 day one, assuming there aren't other great games coming out at around the same time.

You can actually see Nero's old arm get ripped off(by presumably, Vergil) in the trailer. And yeah, I wasn't immediately happy either. The Devil Bringer straight up made Nero. But damn if I'm not intrigued.

Edit: I get what you mean about dodging in the series. It did seem kind of awkward in the past.

Saying the Xbox had its best conference in years isn't really saying much.

It's not, but this was unusually great. It was one of the better conferences across multiple companies in quite a few years. Last year's E3 felt like garbage.

What do you think of the new DMC? I fucking love it. Nero was my favorite character(I got into the series late with 4) and I'm glad that he wasn't tossed in the garbage with DmC. I'm not completely sold on his look, but in terms of his mannerisms and voice, he hasn't lost a beat.
