I'd try to run what you have against Ixion and try and weigh whether just getting a USB that isn't Maria's would push you over the 30s threshold or beating him or whatever your current goal is. Otherwise go harder on the Water one that's coming. Wish I'd done that with this wind banner I just kinda assumed Cloud's USB would be a bit more impactful than it is alone but I have the wrong supplemental BSB for him (the KH one which is darkness focused not wind). For me I almost think crushing Golem with Water overkill is more viable than Wind at the moment. Like I almost want to just bench Cloud cause it's hard to slot him and the amount of mitigation I need and his damage isn't really that high with my current amount for him. I guess Cloud USB will be helpful at some point but yeah. What I really should've done is possibly gone for the Valvalis banner a few months out and went with a wacky mage team instead I think. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Like I wish I could've taken back my draw on this banner 4 cause I still can't beat Golem and honestly I feel like magic might be the better way to attack him given what I have-- like I gave him a shot and Rydia was doing the most damage by far just by blasting him with Tiamat. If I'd gotten a better draw or Zack's Chain I might've but Cloud's USB ain't enough to move the needle much. And because I'm not willing to draw more I should've just not even bothered with one. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

These hero banners are the worst. Well I never have to worry about Swift Sparrows again I guess. I'm wondering who you should actually use Life & Death over it on and I'm not sure. Like it's only useful for counter attacks on the enemy phase but it also makes you squishier on the enemy phase so it's like ??? Maybe the whole idea of using it to correct stat spreads on lacking offensive units isn't the wrong one after all if you have a bunch of Swift Sparrows --- No problem! They're just deaths, no different than the myriad other wrestlers that have died aside from in Owen's case being more weird. | Lopen 03/31/18 2:53:03 PM #255 | Actually I think Bret Hart was a really bad example since I actually do think he does do good character work in a match-- like a big part of the reason I think Bret Hart is so good is because he has this aura of believability that just shows in every aspect of how he treats wrestling, be it through his matches or his interviews. His whole moveset and approach to a match is kind of a no-bullshit kinda look that is really true to his character. And when he was "this is a real groin pull" heel he'd have like scummy overselling tendencies too. For me better guys to mention as failing in this regard would be like... Dean Ambrose (is supposed to be a "lunatic" but does so by... flowcharting a set of "unpredictable moves") Dolph Ziggler (super kicks and tries to steal the show all over the place even as a heel-- even as a heel who is openly chastising flash over substance) Jeff Hardy (Willow and heel moveset are identical to his face moveset) Triple H (always does a controlled "ring general" momentum stuffing type of moveset even as a face and even when storyline dictates he should be more angry or passionate about the match-- sorry dude just bringing out the sledgehammer and making mean faces ain't selling me that you're really angry or passionate) There are a lot I could name here-- Bret Hart isn't one I would though. --- No problem!
