This shouldn't even be a debate regardless of mass shootings being the reason we are discussing it. Because at the end of the day, school shootings are still a rarity and I hate living in fear. I don't want us to ban guns OR have armed guards walking around. I also think we should abolish the Patriot Act and roll back airport security measures. We didn't have school shootings back when we weren't considering arming everyone and overall violent crime has been on a general trend down for decades.
