I was 155 when i finished high school. I could run 10k then. I am 33 now and at 215.

I was very active as a teen. In college, my activity level dropped. Lots of beer and za. In grad school, my diet and activity level and self esteem dropped and lots of new stress.

After grad school, work started. Long hours. I live alone and cooking for one sucks. I eat takeout alot.

By the time I get home, and makr time for reading, socializing, traveling, and vidya, there is no time for exercise.

That's fucking sad dude. I'm 30 and can still run 10k. Because I didn't let myself become fat and out of shape.

I usually put on about 5 pounds here in the winter because the winter's fucking brutal and it's harder to get exercise than in the other seasons, and even that feels bad. How the fuck do people let themselves get so out of shape?

I think not threatening people is probably a good best practice to follow if you want to stay out of trouble. They also take into account if the person on the receiving end felt threatened or if it seemed legitimate.
