oh btw, about the keeping new readers in mind thing. Marvel is pretty good about that. usually at the beginning of every issue they have a blurb that tells you what they think you need to know to understand what's going on. a recap that is 1 paragraph long

well if it's that important to read from the beginning, the Marvel Unlimited app has a feature where you can search by published year. and you can go back as far as you want (earliest is 1939) and it will show you the issues as they were published in order back then. and you can read what you want as you work towards modern day. it's only 10 dollars a month. it's pretty cool. they've gotta have like a million issues on there by now. it has nearly the entire history of Marvel. but they add in more backissues every week, plus new issues (but 6 months behind the current published books)

I try to be an ambassador for comics as much as I can, cause I want more people to get into it, to support the industry. one of the things that makes me saddest is how many misconceptions about how to get into comics, non readers have.

I will give an exaple. I had't read spiderman in YEARS and then in 2011 at the beginning of an event called Spider Island, I started up again. alot of stuff was different but by the time i finished Spider Island, I felt I understood the differences mostly. and eventually figured out all the stuff that had changed

It's one of the things that made me hesitant to jump into comics. You don't where you can start from unless you specifically ask for help first.

it's not that bad though. you don't HAVE to start at the beginning. you can find the beginning of arc that looks interesting and start there, and then jump around. it's better than never reading them at all. your missing out. anyway, comics are designed to have many natural jumping on points. they WANT new customers to come in. like I keep saying, it is no where near as hard as you think it is

this. it's literally the beginning for that universe. and the 2009 series is about a different person. TC should have looked more into it before he gave up. too many people get too intimidated by comics. but it's not as hard as you think.

When I see people on my facebook feed saying America in 2018 is Nazi Germany unironically, I worry more about those loonies as they will try to shape America to be their own idealistic envision of what they believe America should be. A land without true freedom, trying too hard to be the "morally-good" country, but in that, it becomes its own totalitarian government.

I understand what your saying and partly agree with you. but I think this kid thing is one thing we shouldn't be doing. I am somewhat against illegal immigrants. I think people should do things by the book and get in officially. but when they are arrested they should either keep their kids with them in detainment, or just be deported as a family
