Most UIs are made of GTK+ or QT. It supports OpenGL and Vulkan natively. There's also a way to enable native DirectX 9 support for wine, which is a native implementation of the Windows API. It is possible to game on Linux, steam has over 2000 games now, and GOG has a bunch, plus you can run many Windows-only games/software with wine. --- |

All I remember was screaming and crying, but I somehow fell asleep in the back seat of the car when my parents were driving back to civilization to get help. Then I woke up in the hospital to somebody literally scraping my skin off with a wire brush or some shit. I woke up again in my hospital room at night and there were shadows moving on the wall and a rustling sound that scared the hell out of me. At the time I didn't know, but it was probably a bird outside. After that it was like a week of lying in bed watching Disney channel while people filtered in with gifts, so it wasn't all bad. --- |

Sometimes something sparks a memory and I think about them. We had a kitten that only lived for three days, in constant pain, and I felt so fucking bad about it and he always pops into my mind. At least his two siblings were ok and we still have them. --- |

I don't watch much broadcast TV, but maybe those networks(NBC, ABC, CW, FOX, etc) have good stuff going too. I did like the first season of The Orville. There are some great British shows, Peaky Blinders being my favorite at the moment. And Taboo starring Tom Hardy. It seems like the production quality of TV has gone waaay up since 2000 or so and even more big name movie actors are starting to do more TV. --- |
