if they just focus on the one party member and balance the game around that it will be much better.

Didn't the first game have a completely different battle system? I didn't play it but I thought it was turn based but this new game plays more like Kingdom Hearts. Is that right?

Well I think that silence is mainly good for aggro decks or trying to get board control NOW. Silencing a Voidlord removes 18 health worth of taunt from the board. That's a lot of health to get through!

Wow I'm 100%for 3 games with Silence Priest on Rank 15 Ladder! Is this the meta breaker we've been ignoring? Some of the aggro decks seem to be having issues getting through taunts with 15+ health for some reason.

I haven't even added any new cards, just playing the old meme version. Maybe this deck is worth refining?

Werewords sounds like a lot of fun! I kinda feel like I could just use the pieces from my Werewolf game along with the app. Are the tokens so essential that the mayor couldn't just say yes or no? I called out Ulti's bullshit on the hearthstone board and he said I was a major troll and most of B8 has me on ignore. I don't even think most of B8 knows who I am so it was nice to catch Ulti in an actual, pulled out of his ass, lie.

I mean like we all know he lies about things but I think this was the first time it would be pretty easy to prove he's full of shit. Too bad he blocked me for making fun of him and pointing out his inferiority complex too often.

I heard they're also trying to go after targeted ads from restaurants near the theater. Honestly that doesn't sound sustainable either so just enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

I've been subscribed to the monthly bundle for about 10 months at this point and I've never been disappointed. The amount and quality of games you get for 12 dollars is pretty nuts and even with "bad" months there's still at least one game that looks interesting.

If they raised the price to $20 I would probably be a little more hesitant each month but picking games out of a bigger list seems like it might be a slightly better value.

Wait and see I guess but Humble Monthly has been very underrated for a long time so raising the price eventually felt inevitable.

I wonder if the Switch's popularity will translate into bigger sales for Kirby. Kirby always does well, but it'd be nice to see it get super popular like BotW or Splatoon 2 since it's always been kind of a tier below Nintendo's major properties when it comes to reception. People always seem to like it, but never treat it as a big deal.

I like Kirby games but they'll need to make one that lasts longer than 6 hours to cross that line I think.

Some aggro Druid lists already don't run any of those cards and now they get a 5 mana 4/8 taunt.

Having upgraded Druid hero power seems pretty oppressive from the start of the game. A powerful effect like that feels like it's supposed to be a reward for having to build a less than optimal deck. There's nothing less than optimal about a 5 mana 4/8 with taunt.

The condition seems absolutely pointless when you're obviously not going to run that card in anything but an "odd" deck. They shouldn't be giving more tools to enhance a gimmick centered around deck building because it completely removes the challenge of playing a "bad" deck in the first place.

If you're playing a highlander deck you're obviously limiting yourself but they didn't go printing 5 mana 4/8 taunts for that deck.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that cards having conditional effects centering around deck building are bad because it's going to trigger 100% of the time. Nobody is going to run a 5 mana 2/6 taunt in their deck but everyone will run two of that card in their "odd" deck.

Okay so they're completely removing the restricting aspect of building a deck around even/odd by printing crazy cards to support those decks?

Not really sure I understand the design choices here to be honest. It seems like you'll be able to just search "even" or "odd" and click every card with text to fill half of your deck if they keep printing cards like these.

I mean I realize they've only shown like 10 cards but I'm still not a fan of this so far.

Ended up going 1-3 with my quest mage deck in the tavern brawl.

First game I lost because a Priest got ice block from drakonid operative.

Second game I beat a zoo warlock somehow.

Third game I lost to a face hunter

Fourth game I lost to murloc paladin.

Wasn't expecting to win much but I got 30 gold so whatever.

Well I mean it doesn't feel very good having your Barnes burned in spell hunter so they had to nerf that card. I mean could you imagine having your Barnes get milled before you can pull out your Y'Shaarj on turn 4? There's no counter play to that situation for you!

I'm sure we'll be getting full dust from the rotation and full dust if you decide to disenchant just like Sylv and Rag.

After reading the reasoning behind Coldlight I guess I can get on board but I still don't like the idea that some classes just don't have card draw and that's part of their identity.

I played with someone who bought a lot of fake guns basically to just use for that game and it definitely made it more fun.

It's a lot of fun when people get into character but it's a game that very much depends on the pace being quick.

The only time I've gotten to 12 wins was during Karazhan when arena was basically broken. I drafted a Warrior with 3 fool's banes and a mage with 3 flamestrikes, something like 6 firelands portals, and 2 blizzards. I have a picture on my desktop at home where my hand is just flamestrikes and fireland portals on turn 5.

Not sure if you're in a large enough city to have a decent temp agency but consider looking into that. They'll work around your schedule and your handicap to find you temporary or permanent stuff. It's a small feeling but knowing that someone is looking out for you is always nice.

You might also be surprised at some of the available work and meet some new people! If nothing else it's something to do to make some cash in your free time.
