I kinda bounce between different areas. When I'm on set I'm commonly art department, sound, or camera.

Before I got sick I was pretty much just doing camera stuff for the last while.

Didn't ask certain girls out in HS

Didn't put myself out there as much as I could've in HS (though I still had friends there and still had lots of fun I think there's a lot more I could've gotten if I was more extroverted)

Didn't attend university out of town. I like my career don't get me wrong. And I definitely enjoyed my local college. I just think that out of town school always looked so much more fun.

Cheating on my first serious girlfriend. Not in a "I WISH WE WERE STILL TOGETHER" way just in that she was a really nice girl and didn't deserve that.

Not going to work on Chappie. I'd probably have gotten a job on Infinity War if I did.

Do the movie the way the fan reinterpretation is

Basically

*spoilers*

Film 1:

Shepard is a prospective Spectre and is allied with Saren. He and Saren butt heads throughout the film since Saren hates humans and they're investigating the Collectors abducting human colonies. Shepard goes on missions with Saren, fills out his crew, discovers the truth about the Collectors and Reapers and stops the threat. Then he's made a Spectre. Saren goes rogue to try to figure out how to barter with the Reapers or weaponize their tech against humanity.

Film 2:

Shepard is now a Spectre and is tasked with securing a beacon on Eden Prime. The whole place is attacked by Geth and what appears to be a Reaper. Shepard starts going after Saren. The movie can stick to the game pretty closely. Maybe swap out/combine the Citadel Battle with the Arrival DLC somehow.

Film 3:

Reaper invasion

Was supposed to start yesterday but there was a complication with my bloodwork (namely it said I had Hepatitis C) and the cryo place refused to store my fertility samples if I was positive for Hep C.

Thankfully that was all cleared up, and I'll be heading to the clinic in a few hours.

Hopefully I get one of those nice bitchin private rooms.

Cut out The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 3 because while they're alright, they either stand out really weirdly (Incredible Hulk) or otherwise have zero relevance on the greater arc in the series (Iron Man 3)

Then you move Captain America to before Thor, since the reveal of the Cube at the end of Thor is more impactful when you know what it is. The Avengers also picks up with Loki, so keeping it closer to Thor makes sense.

Moving Dr. Strange to the early phase 1 makes sense because honestly the movie has little connection to the rest of the series, so it can pretty much go anywhere on the timeline. Setting it earlier and giving it a berth of several years makes the reference in Winter Soldier make more sense, as well as his huge skill increase in Ragnarok.

Then Black Panther takes place like a week after Civil War, so the placement directly after makes sense.

Homecoming starts during Civil War but then there's a time jump of a few months.

Then the credits scene in Ragnarok leads nicely into Infinity War

So that's my order. Tried trimming the fat wherever I could.

Holy shit I need to get through treatment and get back to work. This is unhealthy for me.

Because less money usually means less capacity for cool effects, high quality, and storytelling. Not always, but usually.

One of the main things they teach you in film school is to work within your means.

If you can only get a $20,000 budget, then you gotta build your movie around that.

You can still have a monster movie, and it can still be good, but you'd have to be more creative with it.

Plenty of wonderful films have been made for next to nothing.
