As a standalone movie... it's crap. The effects and charm weren't even as good as Awakens and oddly, the fight choreography was TERRIBLE... not even as good as, like, Empire Strikes Back and that movie only has one real fight.

As a sequel to a new trilogy? Mmmmm, it has its place. Enough continuity to act as the poopy middle child before a good finale...

But they prematurely blew their load... there's literally nothing to look forward to. Which ironically I think was the message of the movie: Let Star Wars die
