I admit, I was one of the people who were pissed at the changes. Only played a couple of hours, but I do appreciate (for now I guess) that it's still the same edgy Kratos and the combat is still over the top when it comes to gore. I still prefer the Chaos blades over the Axe because it made combat look more flashy.

It gets flashier as the game goes on. Some of the fights and bosses are insanely good.

Thanos without the gauntlet can face off an unfed Galactus, but so can a lot of people. Thanos with a gauntlet and several gems? Galactus is terrified. At that point Thanos is one of. The strongest beings in Marvel.

I never said Thanos could've shrugged Mantis off in time. Mantis has shown proficiency in putting god like beings in stasis.

That's your hypothesis, if you want my hypothesis, Strange could've just used some magic to push Starlord away, after reversing for a second.

And this is all presuming Strange hasn't seen this future, where Starlord willingly blows the whole op.

Strange let it play out for the endgame yes.

That's an in-dimension response. Not a viable explanation for an outside critique.

That's similar to when you do your best to patch up a bunch of fucks at the end and act like you knew what you were doing all along.

The patch up this time around was the horrendous writing (starlord blowing the op and Strange not using the time stone).

Neither of those were bad writing.

Yes, it really does.

You can't brush off every annoying or stupid scene with saying "they're human". It's a poor defense for bad writing.

It isn't just "they're human", it's that their actions fit with their established characters. All of those encounters went as they should have given what we know of the characters.

the bad guys in dr strange were able to escape from the time stone, I don't see why Thanos wouldn't have been able to

because he didn't know how to use it then, he knew it post dormumu

He knew how to use it both times. The problem is that unlike Dormammu, Strange couldn't have worn down Thanos no matter how long he kept him there. Thanos wouldn't have bargained.

I edited my comment.

Dormumu couldn't, it's not Thanos escaping time, its rewinding Starlord from shrugging Mantis off Thanos.

It wasn't about Thanos dealing with time, it was about rewinding Starlord before he fucks it all up for everyone.

Thanos could've escaped the rewind. Just like the baddies in Dr Strange did. Dormammu was different, he wasn't being rewound he was just stuck in a loop. That would've accomplished nothing with Thanos.

Starlord had to hit Thanos for a couple of seconds before Mantis was shrugged off, any moment within that timeframe, if he reversed it, with Mantis still on Thanos and Starlord failing to get Mantis off, would've done the job.

Like i said, it's not about Thanos reacting to time, he was already in stasis. It was about stopping the moment starlord hits Thanos, reversing while Thanos is still in thanos and working aroun it to get the gauntlet off.

Remeber they only needed a fraction of a second more.

According to them. Most likely Thanos could've shrugged them off as you said. And even if he reversed Starlord, he would've kept attacking Thanos, again accomplishing nothing.

The conservative answer to this should be "if you don't like what the teacher says, don't take his class". That's what they use for virtually anything that offends liberals.

First off, it's a little late for that in mid-April.

And secondly, this isn't a case of this student being offended because he's a sensitive nancy. He's being berated by an idiot professor who's acting emotionally and unprofessionally. The conservative thing to do in this case is remedy the situation by getting the incompetent professor shitcanned.

I had a conservative professor that was very opinionated and willing to share his opinion about things. And that's fine.

His response if he came across something he disagreed with was to say he thinks thata stupid and then proceed to debate it or teach about it and run the class normally.

Despite having completely different opinions from my own he was one of my favorite teachers ever.

Thjs professor didn't handle political disagreements professionally at all and attacked a student, to the point even his liberal students complained. He needs to be fired.

This has already been covered. They haven't by the standards of US law.

How is illegal immigration not illegal?

If it weren't illegal, the government couldn't deport them.

If they were brought here as kids or if various circumstances made leaving not a reasonable choice, then they don't fit the Mens Rea qualifications.

But you agree the other 95% that knowingly came here did break the law, right?

Nowhere close to 95%, and there are circumstances beyond that that would cause issues, though they're usually more edge cases.

Keep in mind, I'm not against deportation, I'm against it being a standard response. It should be treated like everything else in our justice system, by looking at the circumstances and responding in kind.

Not quite like this. Like, one time I was walking through a grocery store and saw one of the workers had a box knife on him. I suddenly had detailed thoughts about how much damage I could do and how quickly just by grabbing it and slicing him.

They tend to be very specific thoughts that then distress the individual by making them worry about himself.
