normally with a 16-24" stud setup you mount to the nearest studs desired, and the mount itself will let you slide the tv to one side or the other to some extent

i mounted mine around a hole i cut in the wall to run cables behind and moved the tv so the cables could come out

Right, this all makes sense. It's weird because reading some recipes and stuff it sounds like some people proof it for what, 4 days.

https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2012/07/basic-neapolitan-pizza-dough-recipe.html

I guess that's in the fridge though.

yeah low temp = longer proof time

imo proofing in fridge is needed for sourdough or partial-levain (starter) yeast bread but a big waste of time for regular/instant yeast doughs

other thing

dont run your sauce/ingredients out to the last 1.5" of dough

instead melt butter and mix with minced garlic, and paint that on the last inch of dough. that's how you get the crust looking like mine

non-levain yeast shouldnt need that kind of proof time

and it is like 10 minutes sit time after being rolled out, not two hours

was busy

1) check temps when you mixed in the yeast

2) probably overproofed

3) check water/flour/salt ratios- and measure by weight

4) check duration you let it rest after rolling out, prior to adding the sauce and cheese

Topic"How are you going to pay for universal healthcare?"
Darkman124
07/20/18 9:57:14 PM

really the question is "What are we already paying for our existing healthcare system?"

republicans don't think of tax deductions as payments, but they are. at present we subsidize about half the employer-based healthcare system, which is highly inefficient and costs far too much per person to be sustainable.

how do you pay for UHC? by killing the employer system and stripping away those tax breaks.

which is to say, by killing UNH, Aetna, etc. because without the tax subsidies, and in the face of competition that is free, they'd die. and people who work middle class and upper middle class jobs would have to either pay a LOT more, or accept the lower overall standard of a universal care system, in exchange for the removal of the inane bullshit inherent in working with private insurance.

there'd be significant growing pains. and republicans would take any opportunity voters gave them to break it.

hey man, i'm just telling you how the mechanics work and letting you know what conversations you may want to have as part of "session zero".

my wife plays a paladin with high intelligence. our DM goes out of his way to make it useful to her, and i went out of my way not to take religion as a skill on my wizard, so her character concept wasn't just a shittier version of mine when using that skill.

you might have conversations with your DM about improvised weapons that he'd qualify as monk weapons, or ways to use acrobatics instead of athletics for judo-type improvised actions and so forth.

you'd need tavern brawler for proficiency with improvised weapons, but those would not qualify as monk weapons, so you'd not be able to use dex to attack with them.

fwiw, most 'pro-wrestler' type action calls for an athletics check, and that is pretty much a barbarian+rogue combination.

in fact, the goliath barbarian 5/rogue 2 is one of the more popular characters. it can put an adult dragon in a headlock (grappled+prone) and reliably keep in there, which is pretty huge considering what makes dragons deadly is their ability to fly away.

unfortunately 5e does not do a great job handling improvised weapons--mostly makes them 1d4 attacks. so some of the creativity requires a DM who is on board with inventing special rolls for your ideas. most DMs will accomodate since what you're doing is flavorful and often funny.

at one table we had a guy grapple two enemies, and use them as improvised weapons against one another while shouting "stop hitting yourself!"

we all enjoyed this
