You really don't need that much duration. Even at 70 duration you get Toxic Lash for 20ish seconds which is good enough.

Use overextended. Then use Transient Fortitude, Intensify and maybe augur secrets and/or power drift in exilus slot depending on enemy levels. Top off with streamline, stretch, augur reach maybe. Lv 1-30 you don't really need vitality and Regen Molt so you can just pack everything into range and power strength.

Ok I'll give that a try. I just picked up Transient Fortitude so I'll throw it in there.

Right now I'm at:
145 Duration
100 Efficiency
100 Range
145 Strength
I have the toxic lash augment that leaves a cloud behind on death so that's what I use most time. I have an overextended that I could throw on for range but that's gonna nuke the strength. What's the best way to balance both?

Before he passed away he revisited the game on his stream and he found it to be an amazing game and surpased all his expectations on it, going from his original wtf to this really shows how this game changed for the better

Yeah I saw an update he did on it a few years later. It's amazing how much influence he had on the game's success. I actually didn't know that until I saw Rebb and Megan announcing his passing and I went back and looked into it.

I was watching Totalbiscuit's original WTF on this last night and it's amazing how far this game has come just on gameplay mechanics alone. From having a stamina system and no parkour, having no real melee system to speak of, and hell just the UI.

There's no way the game would have survived if it had stayed like it was.

The plains was a good idea with awful execution, allegedly DE learned from this and wont do the same grindfest bullshit with Fortuna, but i'm holding my breath on that.

One of the developers Steve already responded about that. He acknowledged that PoE was a terrible grind and that Fortuna won't be the same

Hopefully they'll adjust the Plains too at some point.

Yeah overall I'd call PoE a misfire. The grind is bad and the Plains themselves aren't interesting enough for me to want to do it. I haven't gone there in months.

I just tried one of these new Event missions (Xbox1) that was a 20 wave Corpus defense mission and got my ass handed to me. Saw some new Corpus things. Not sure if they were flesh or robotic but they were called Hyenas. Mfers destroyed what I was defending inside of 3 waves.

Maybe Ill try again I could use 50k credits and 1500 endo.

Yeah that was surprisingly a somewhat difficult mission. Idk if there were some weird ass modifiers or something but ammo and energy was pretty scarce. Also the hyenas seemed to be immune from damn near most things.

Yeah there are a lot of energy leeches and magnetic procs. The funny thing is the second mission is a breeze. The third is pretty easy and the bonus mission is ridiculous. I didn't even finish that one. Did you try it in a group?

Yeah Neptune is kinda where I hit a wall too at first. Maybe try looking into better mods or ones that do status effects

Outside sites. There's one called Nexus I believe, and one called WF Market. That seems to be what most people base their prices on.

I used to think the same thing when I first started out. Honestly though it's not hard to come across 20 platinum for slots through trade. Also there's gonna be weapons that you can just rank up for mastery fodderband then just sell. You're really encouraged to try out a bunch of different stuff and just hold on to the few favorites, especially towards the beginning.

It just means that you can farm the prime frames and weapons whereas you couldn't before unless you had old ass relics that had em in their droptable

Kinda. Only specific Prime items are in the rotation at any given time. Once they're out of the rotation they're considered vaulted. So before now, Nyx and Rhino Prime weren't able to be gained through any missions.

Apparently, all entrant numbers are lower this year. Likely because EVO is later this year, when people are gearing up to go back to school.

Er, does the amount of credits you get grow as you advance? I just did the quest to get the Kubrow pet and that power unit cost me 80% of my earnings >_>

Eventually you'll get a lot of duplicate mods you can sell for credits if you ever need to. Seriously you'll rack up hundreds of the common mods just through regular play

They did and they deserved the ridicule, but they also deserve props for truly fixing the game.

This is why it bothers me that people are all "too late to care" about it.

If it has turned into the game that got you interested in the first place, give it a chance.

Hell, at least Hello Games made things right. That's a vast improvement over what most companies do (drop support right after launch and sell you the fixed version later, if ever)

First impressions are key. It's not unreasonable to not want to go back to a game two years after release if it was disappointing at launch. It's cool that they put in the work but people do move on.

The Game had a pretty good career after G-Unit. Obviously not mega-superstardom but he was more relevant than any of the rest of them (save 50 obviously) ended up being.

People (rightfully) expected something more than what they got. After numerous delays, what came out looked like a cheap and amateur effort that didn't even have everything that was promised.

From what I've heard also a major thing is that the level design and enemy placing terrible and doesn't lend itself to dashing and being speedy like the game wants. It'll lead to a lot of damage and cheap deaths.
