I've come to realize that eight independent stories is too much for one game. Really, that's this game's only big flaw, as I see it. I enjoy the battles a great deal more than the story bits because of that. Breath of the Wild is. Skyward Sword is a 1000 degree dumpster fire I won't get too into it, but I have 2 major complaints. First, all the areas are too disjointed. Having to go all the way up into Skyloft just to go from the desert to the forest is terrible. Second is Fi. The game would be semi playable for me, if she was an optional guide. Unfortunately she's baked into the story, so you're stuck with someone telling you where to go and what to do, every single play through Consequently, since Breath of the Wild does the literal opposite of both of these things, it's one of my faves --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.1 |
