All we have here is peak white guy who thinks he's an expert and refuses to consider any other point of view. Corrik being white has zero to do with his possibly misplaced confidence and if anything, as a racial minority, I'm kinda aggravated you'd bring it up and make light of our actual struggles so you can just shrug off Corrik's arguments as white privilege. Someone of Morgana's archetype will always have mixed reception; he basically fills the role of the kid character and we have seen that one is a lot more miss than hit for most people here. I don't mind him and he's one of the few members of the main cast who felt fully-fletched and flawed in a way that was consistent with his character and the plot. The fight with Ryuji was kinda cringe but it was basically a plot device and it delved deeper into Morgana's insecurities in a way that made sense given who he is. I find him fun most of the time and especially pre-Makoto the one saving grace who injects some much-needed dynamism into the dialog between Ann and Ryuji who could be anyone given how straight they play their archetypes and Yusuke who is completely socially detached and mostly in his own world. --- Surskit Hi! The choice itself is beautifully constructed and the whole scene is wonderful, but the pay-off isn't there. The save Chloe ending is especially disappointing; seeing AB destroyed for a few seconds as Max and Chloe drive away after we basically killed everyone we met throughout the game should generate a much stronger emotional response, but the characters don't really express it. I remember I ended up loading my save file again to make the choice to save AB because it just felt so lacking, and while it was a little better, it also didn't quite hit the mark either imo.
