I will never fault a player for taking the money or leaving for another team. Teams always ask for loyalty until its just business. Sucks that Derozen was really invested in the team and their vision and they screwed him over.

I also saw that if Kawhi were to leave for the Lakers hell be giving up on something like $80M to do so, forfeiting the money the Spurs could have given him with a super max and the extra year and cash the Raps can give him with his bird rights. Again, all power to you if you wanna be in LA, but damn framed that way he must really wanna play there. I am a little interested to see if hell stay, however, he seems adamant about not doing so but Toronto should be a top two or three seed in the East next year.

I enjoy being challenged to learn and master the gameplay mechanics. To an extent, anyway, the ideal difficulty should offer resistance without disrupting the flow of the game too much. But I understand the easy mode mentality of just wanting a more relaxed experience.

I was initially a little surprised by how sad this news made me. Thinking about it, though, Kokos life represents how sensitive and intelligent animals can be, and its this truly heartwarming story of a real relationship between humans and this beautiful creature when we were able to find a shared language. If learning about Koko didnt make you more compassionate towards animals I dont know what would.

Did the theater eventually fill up, and what did you think of it?

I have become less interested in Star Wars since Force Awakens and Rogue One, both were perfectly fine but not so spectacular that I get hyped to see them. But I find the business side of things kind of interesting to watch unfold, because Disney is obviously trying to build this up in the same way they have with Marvel, but theres been a big drop off in profits from TFA to RO/TLJ and Last Jedi in particular was the first one that dipped more into the mixed reviews territory. Now with Solo Ive heard similar rumblings, mostly that the characters are pretty fun but the actual story is just kinda meh, but even from Star Wars fans so it feels like this might be the first Star Wars movie that genuinely doesnt do well. Disney would kind of be in the DC trap where you have this ultra iconic brand with long term roadmap of movies already in production but with diminishing returns.

Ive had pretty good luck with Zapdos research catches. My best from the initial round of raids was only 91%, but the last two weeks I got a perfect and 98% which is pretty good. I also got a perfect Lugia (and a shiny) when they were rereleased, so round two of the legendaries has been good to me for the most part.

Taking a break from a project I've been working on. God, I love me some classic Jackie Chan. I've really come to appreciate the long shot action sequences because he and the stunt guys can actually pull off all of these moves, as opposed to most action films where they have to use close up and constant cuts to mask the actor's lack of martial arts technique.

I watched a comedic playthrough of it on twitch, and even after all their goofing around they couldn't help but get serious toward the end. Fuck that ending, man.

Yes! The game definitely felt a little rough around the edges at times - I think a big part of that also comes from mainly playing highly polished big budget games prior to this as well so it's not a super fair comparison - but it was very successful at building up your emotional response and knowing how to manipulate you as a result. I also had a very casual attitude towards it for most of the game but I was really impressed when all was said and done.

8ish probably, it's not terribly long but we also probably missed a few interactable moments so 7-10 hours seems like a good estimate. We did get somewhat competitive with the little minigames you can play so we had to best-of-three a few times as well. :p

I got MP in Feb and I kinda like it. It definitely helps that a movie ticket in NYC costs nearly double the monthly MP fee lol. I've been a little bored with the movie scene lately but I think part of that is how only big franchise sequels get most of the focus, and I've found myself paying more attention to smaller releases now.

Right? I haven't seen a show in so long and it was such a delight from beginning to end.

Yeah, I like theater but not quite as much as most of my theater friends, but BoM and Hamilton were the first two I saw after a bit of a dry spell and it reminded me how much fun a live performance like that can be.

Zeus posted...
The whole album flows together beautifully because -- and I didn't realize this at the time -- was because *all* the scenes were songs, which is a crazy different approach.

That was also a surprise for me, the format - as I learned afterward - is called a sung through play where there's minimal if any spoken dialogue which I really liked.

i also advise you keep eyes on the crowd whenever you get a second. the number of people gasping and pearl clutching or going red in the face with anger was downright hysterical when i went. Its a musical by matt and trey, so im really not sure what these people expected.

That's interesting, I suppose there are some tourists who go see it more spontaneously or something. I remember sitting next to this senior couple when I saw BoM and had the thought they'd react unfavorably, but they were roaring with the rest of the crowd so I guess it's wrong to judge lol.

Hope you enjoy BoM. I saw it a few years ago and it was hilarious. I had tried to win lottery tickets for a year or so but finally caved and bought them normally, totally worth it.

I saw Hamilton last month, it was tight

I saw this last year and it blew my mind, the hype was insane for it but it lived up to it completely. The songs are so good, and the pace of the whole show is so fast that its relentless (in a good way), it was such a different experience from every other show Ive seen.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from recent memory.

MD was clearly meant to be the middle child of a trilogy, I didnt feel that the ending was bad as much as the game teased enough of the bigger picture that your actions in the game dont feel as important. This wouldnt be so bad if the final game came out a year or two later, but Square put it on ice after it didnt sell as well so youre just left with more questions than answers. Its a shame because it really was a great game but they screwed themselves over with all of the microtransaction BS.

This is the answer. Not only did they release the game without the proper ending, but the ending that was included was also not satisfying. Fuck Konami.

Yes but fought is probably an exaggeration. If Im visiting friends from out of town, or if friends from out of town are visiting me, I generally want to pay. The most Ill do is try and snag the bill when it comes, but if theyre quicker and insist then I just offer to get the next one.

Ive had phaal curry at this Indian restaurant in nyc.

This specifically:

It was both very tasty and excruciatingly spicy. I did not finish it, I got about two thirds of the way through it before my mouth and fingers went numb and my stomach hurt too much to continue. I like spicy food but that was on an entirely different level.

Its very good, its just way too long which drops it down a notch imo. It was originally envisioned as a TV series so you can see how some subplots that would have been fleshed out more (Natalie Portmans character) still made it into the final cut but dont add a whole lot to it.

That said, some amazing action sequences and that face to face between McCauley and Hanna is legendary.
