Yeah, really.

In my experience hotel room towels are usually great. They've been washed probably thousands of times so all the chemical treatments and dyes, etc.. that are used to keep them dry during shipping are long gone. They have also been washed enough times to no longer be prone to shedding.

I wish it was feasible to use micro fiber towels because they do a great job of drying and don't shed but I don't know if you are even supposed to wash those and how much they would degrade if you did.

I never thought of it that way before but I had a similar experience growing up. If not, maybe I would be like my roommate who goes through a 12 pack every couple days or so. Dude isn't fat at all, but that shit is still basically poison.

I've seen a few videos of people doing that where they actually got fucking rekt by someone coming the other way. They absolutely look real but I always have to wonder, lol.

I guess it would be easy enough to hit someone like that if you're not paying super close attention. You would just sort of see a car moving in the opposing lane, you wouldn't expect some dumbass to be in the middle of the road in between two vehicles.

I'd say maybe when I was 26-28, but I've done a bit of hard aging these past few years (for reasons unknown, I guess time really does come for us all lol). Turning 32 next month and I think I look a lot closer to my age now, although could probably still pass for 5-7 years younger quite easily.

I see so many of those videos online (mainly from Asia) with the trucks that are loaded like 1000x over capacity with all sorts of stuff. Then they have to make a gradual turn or something and usually end up tipping the entire thing, lol.

Really makes you shake your head. It's almost impressive though, that level of dedication and belief that it's somehow going to work just because you want it to.

As a kid I always wanted to just buy an entire unopened box of booster packs and go wild. By the time I had a job and enough money I was older and had more important things to buy (and wasn't really into playing/collecting cards anymore).

I'll always remember the feelings of anticipation and the thrill when you'd shuffle the cards over and find an amazing rare/holographic.

Yeah. I'll admit that I'm guilty of eating out/ordering out often, or sticking to a few very simple meals. I still feel like everyone should know how to cook at least a few things very well, and if you can read you can easily prepare something by following a recipe. Hell, like with anything else you could even YouTube it these days. I think most people are just lazy or don't care to learn.

I feel like most people will probably die off in a matter of maybe a week if society ever collapses.. or even just if Internet/cell phones go down.

Achievements kind of ruined gaming for me personally. I don't know what it is, but I typically don't feel motivated to play a game to its potential (like fully explore every facet of the content) without them. If the game really grabs my attention then I will, but that's rare.

Even going back and playing some old games that I loved where I would always try to find all the secrets, it doesn't feel rewarding now. Which sucks because it should be about immersing yourself in the experience, not actively trying to achieve pointless side goals.

This seems like a pretty standard practice these days. Bride/groom to be goes out and gets drunk with a bunch of their closest friends, ends up succumbing to peer pressure (or just natural instincts).

The concept of a bachelor/bachelorette party always struck me as kind of weird. You've had however many years of being single and having casual encounters already. You should be looking forward to planning/spending the rest of your life with that person, not like you're getting locked away forever and you only have one last night of freedom to do what you want. I don't get it, lol.

I've done both but I actually prefer blue collar (especially if the pay is dece) because it feels much more stimulating/active to me. I go nuts if I have to sit in a chair in front of a computer all day.

I love my Mazda 3 but the infotainment setup does feel a bit lackluster. It would be nice to have something that paired with my phone's interface more directly.

For me it's not a dealbreaker since I still have Bluetooth/USB/AUX for music and built in GPS if needed.

True enough, but a lot of people will end up missing the tick, don't get the infamous "bullseye rash," etc. Maybe some aren't knowledgeable enough to know about the potential dangers of tick bites so they just remove the tick and that's that. Out of sight, out of mind. I would also imagine that symptoms wouldn't appear right away, at least nothing major. Maybe you would end up with a slight fever, but nothing that would give you pause and make you rush to a doctor right away.

Then later on when you have general malaise and are struggling to function and testing can find nothing wrong, it's more than likely just going to be labelled as psychosomatic rather than being assumed to be the Lyme Disease bacteria at work. Maybe it even gets wrongly diagnosed as something else entirely. A lot of doctors really aren't very knowledgeable about this stuff still. They will just order basic testing to try to rule out different things but that's about it. Then the longer it takes to identify and treat, the more damage is done. It's honestly quite scary.

That's one of my worst fears. It's fucked how many different symptoms it can cause, and unless doctors are testing specifically for it every test will come back negative and they'll be left scratching their heads.

So many stories of people who went from being active and successful to not even being able to get out of bed due to having numerous neurological and physical ailments.

I don't fly more than once in a blue moon so the entire experience (going to the airport, getting on the plane, the waiting, takeoff/landing, another airport, grabbing your shit and getting out, etc) makes me a bit apprehensive. It always feels like a huge clusterfuck to me.
