There's always an excuse... lol. It sounds like what happened to me is happening to you. I know for me, I had to just come back to the game and say to myself, fuck it I'm heading straight through the story from here. I had gotten too caught up in the kids and balancing my team with the right classes and skills and etc. It had made the game stop being fun for me, so I just took a break and came back and just played straight through to the end and was satisfied. I'll probably crave a second playthrough some day.

Such exaggerations are unnecessary though. One of my friends is the most hardcore FE fan I've ever known and he still likes Awakening and Fates, just less than the classics.

I eat way too much Burger King. It's right across from my work and I only get 30 mins, and it's always less busy than the McDonalds right beside it lol. I also think BK is a bit better quality than MD. I generally get the same thing every time, a bacon cheeseburger and a small fry. It's super cheap and I really like their fries.

Chapter 21 finale.
Heavy Spoiler.

Right after Validar forces Robin to steal the Fire Emblem from Chrom, Lucina figures out it was Robin who killed her father, (hence the Premonition scene) and attempts to kill Robin over it. If you married her, you get this scene where Lucina ultimately winds up breaking down and thinking for herself for once and deciding that her husband's life matters more than the risk to her father/the entire world since you know, that whole Grima thing. It's more poignant since her entire character arc is centered on the idea that she matters, that she belongs, and she can put herself first. It's touched on in her Hot Spring Scramble conversation with Robin if they're married as well, where she says she can't put him first if it's her duty or him... then when faced with just that, she does.

Ah interesting... does this hint at them being the canon pairing?

Watched them both again last lmao. Unbreakable is just so good imo. The cinematography is fucking excellent and the acting, so many subtleties to their faces and reactions and such. And Split is just barely below it. James Avery just knocked that shit out of the park.

I literally just watched both Unbreakable and Split back to back last night just so I could watch this trailer and boy am I glad I did! The trailer for this completely ruins those other two if you haven't seen them. But I'm pretty hype! I really liked both of them.

How for improvement... Supports, an improved storyline, gaiden chapters actually add to the story too, there's an extra game mode that gives you even more story perspectives... Yeah.

So I looked through both the original and this one and I don't really understand how the game itself plays. Like is it a card game a la MtG, or is more like DnD and you just use the cards instead of stat sheets?

If you mean the weapon triangle, then it's super important. You'll straight up lose to the opposing weapon type most of the time. When you have the advantage, you do more damage, and each of you have better and worse accuracy respectfully.

FE7 is a lot closer in style to the one you're currently playing where it just goes straight from chapter to chapter. And FE8 is more like Awakening with a map and you're free to grind out EXP on random battles. FE7 is definitely the tougher game.

Jesse McCartney is one of the best KH VAs.

This is true. I remember way back before/when KH2 released and he got so much hate and flack from everyone. But his voice clicked and sounded great. He did a good job and has only gotten better. I'd pretty easily say he's better than HJO. Dunno about David Gallagher though, as he's excellent at Riku.
