Pretty much this. There is only one character that drastically changes from SuMo to Ultra, but there is just more to do in Ultra.

Although I did enjoy original SuMo's depiction of Lusamine. Insane jellyfish mom was quite amusing.

I should probably ask this on the Beseria board, but does anyone have some general, non-spoiler tips for using the 6th party member, Eleanor? Fun character, but I am still trying to get a feel for things. This is my 1st time through the game

Velvet is interesting from what I have seen so far. I won't say any spoilers, but a friend of mine and I started a co-op Beseria run over a year ago. But then he moved 300 miles away from me to get a house back in his hometown...

EVEN SO, "The Dream Will Never Die." I occasionally visit him when I have time off and we progress further. I am playing as player 2 and using the 6th party member that joins. He plays as Velvet. Fun and silly game so far, I look forward to the next chance I have to play.

Many of the games on the SNES classic I already have either on VC or original SNES charts. But I am a huge fan of the original Star Fox and I think it's neat that to finally have an alternative to playing it on original SNES (it was never made available on VC).

Of course, there is the never released Star Fox 2! Fun game, although I need to play it some more.

Besides those two, there are a handful of games on there that I don't have a SNES cart or VC of, so it feels good to get those (Castlevania 4, Kirby Superstar). A little disappointed that there's no way to do 3 player on Secret of Mana, but if I ever did get 3 players in the same room i have my multi-tap ready.

Not a whole lot, really. Ketchup and mayonnaise is all i ever put on. Bacon is sometimes good if they don't f*** it up and burn it. Mushrooms are sometimes good, but honestly at that point I'd just get a side of breaded mushrooms (mayo and mushrooms don't mix).

My former roommate showed me Symphonia on Gamecube. He had already beaten it so he tagged along as player 2, which led to a great moment when your party members sacrifice themselves one by one to advance Lloyd. I almost cried when Raine stayed behind. Then Genis, the last one happened, and I lost it. To make it even more memorable, my roommate set his controller down on the ground and pushed it away! Then of course you find out all your party members are okay, but i always remember that part really well because my roommate had me believe I was all alone for a bit.

I did pick up chronicles, but i currently have no PS3 to play it on. Let me know if it's worth it! Are the skits voice acted in the PS3/Chronicles version?

No idea why i would pick Pikachu, considering the many times I have run through Yellow version (And even then, the only real advantage to Pikachu in Yellow was that it can learn thunderbolt w/ a TM).

Eevee is the only logical choice. I get that they need to push their mascot, but i have been super saturated with Pikachu over the years.

If you have a mega memory card or a copy of Pokemon Stadium 2 with a transfer pack, you can start by backing up all of your most treasured pokemon.

Pokemon Crystal is now available on 3DS, so really it depends on if you want to keep your Gen 2 files on GB or 3DS.

I'll try and look up a video later, i don't think swapping the battery is as hard as it looks. I've never done it myself, but a friend of mine did replace my gold and silver batteries and they are still going.

I agree, Contra 1 is probably one of the easier titles to master. It just takes some practice and patience.

If you are really desperate, you can always input the Konami Code so that you get a chance to see all of the levels (not every Contra title gives you 30 lives, either).

TTYD had better gameplay and battle mechanics. The backtracking and the soulless MacGuffins put me off. I fancy each Chapter in PM1 as a personal rescue mission. After you free them, the Star Spirits had the decency to thank you. The Crystal Stars, by contrast, were mere rocks.
