AlisLandale 11/02/18 7:50:12 AM #1	In the 80s George Lucas made a fantasy movie, and Capcom made an NES game out of it. Gots a very atmospheric graphical and musical style. Gameplay is Zelda-esque swordplay dropped in a story-based action RPG. I cant really tell you how it holds up past the hour mark though, because when I was a kid I found a part where a witch turns you into a pig and I never got past it. The first one was really strong just as a parody, while they started to lean on gags more and more in the later movies. Also the blackjack scene is in the first one, so that's a plus. I agree actually. Goldmember just feels like a loosely connected series of skits. Its hilarious, but the first movie was definitely the strongest in terms of narrative and actually addressing the genre it was making fun of. Though I loved Spy Who Shagged me too. Hence why people think this is legit because of that. Some people think it's real and authentic. Others think it's all fake or the just smash pic is fake. No one is sure. I watched the RLM review of it and it looks bad, like they show clips where Johnson is talking about how he wanted to completely throw everyone through a loop... and apparently he did, in the worst way possible. I dont have a problem with Johnsons approach in theory. But, if youre going to do that, the payoff needs to be big. Kylo Ren worships Vader and the Sith ideology -> in one little outburst he abandons Vader and insists on killing the past Snoke set up as a huge threat -> killed anticimactically Kylo Ren needs to complete training -> zero training or growth in ability Knights of Ren -> lolwho Finn/Rey teasing -> completely separated for most of the movie, also theres a new love interest Who are Reys parents -> literally nobody What is the significance of Lukes old lightsaber. ->thrown in the ocean Luke Skywalker found -> does nothing then dies Im pretty sure the only plot thread that was legitimately followed up on and not trashed was Reys mysterious force potential, which is reference for like two minutes when she suddenly wants to check out a hole. (Junji Ito memes tho) Regardless of opinion on whether the movie was actually good, its impressive how completely TLJ trashes on TFA <_> --- Since I'm not popular, I'll post on GameFAQs.
