Yeah I'd go with a professional especially if you're going for a more natural look. I know you said white, not sure how tricky that is to pull off, but if you're going for some bright punky color it's a little easier to hide when you fuck it up.

afaik they're not ads, they're promos for Netflix content. Also, they'll be skippable. Also also, they already do this to some degree, they're just thinking of doing it between episodes of a series or something like that. Making it more common? But again, I believe the promos are skippable. Also also also, they're testing this out. It's not something they've fully implemented yet.

From what I gather, everyone is flipping out over pretty much nothing. But, thats the internet for you.

From the Kickstarter backer update:

Hi everyone, IGA here.

There are two important announcements we would like to make in this months update.

Our first announcement is that the game will now launch in 2019. The most important reason for this is to raise the quality level, especially after all the very valuable feedback from the Beta Backer Demo.

The second announcement is that the game will no longer launch on PlayStation Vita. This decision is largely due to Sonys plans to discontinue the Vita console, ending production of physical copies and stopping certain online store support features.

But that's not how it works. I really don't see how you can't differentiate between tolerating something and being bigoted about it.

I tolerate trans persons because I really just don't give a shit. Does that mean I'm a bigot? Because I'm certainly not an advocate.

I disagree. You can exhibit bigoted behavior without being an out and out bigot. And like Mead, or anyone here, I don't know you well enough to assess whether you're a bigot over a few posts on GameFAQs. If I have offended anyone then I do apologize as that is not my intent. I dont feel like Im wrong, but that doesnt mean Im not, so I will think about what everyone has said.

I'm not offended, just disagree with your way of thinking. And I don't know anyone on here well enough to assess whether they are truly a bigot. When I say "you" I'm sort of addressing the reader, not you specifically.

But I will say there is a stark contrast between "tolerance" and "acceptance" and in my opinion if you only tolerate something, you're inherently bigoted. You don't need to feel violent urges or hateful, angry vitriol toward something you refuse to accept in order to be a bigot. Half my family is comprised of people who claim they support gay people in every way except when it comes to gays marrying. That's tolerance, but not acceptance. What's the harm in referring to someone as the gender they claim to be? If you are calling someone their birth gender out of sheer defiance, you're just being disrespectful and needlessly hurtful.

I know you can't force people to change their point of view, and I don't mean to say they should blindly accept things that defy or haven't yet found scientific explanation, but if someone tells you they're a woman or a man and you refuse to acknowledge it, you're expressing a bias that can be damaging to the other person, and the trans community in general. If you willfully hurt another person based on their gender, I'd say that's bigotry.

I agree that there are currently only three known sexes, and I'll admit that I'm not educated enough on the topic to know if transgenders fall into the "intersex" category or if they're something else, but I'd rather be open to supporting trans people fully than to stubbornly cling to what will likely become outdated science in another couple decades. Possibly sooner. I believe they've already found some biological explanation for transgenderism, but it's inconclusive/hasn't reached a consensus.

Of course you can call someone by their name, that's not the argument. But, if you call Caitlyn Jenner "Bruce", then you're a bigoted asshole.

Also, the science isn't conclusive on what causes people to be transgender or to seek reassignment. If you're basing your argument on the notion that there exist only two distinct sexes, then I'd direct you to that first point. This is something that needs to be researched more.

Even if science concludes that there are indeed only two distinct sexes, that doesn't answer the question as to why some people are transgendered. Years ago, people thought being gay was a choice. It's not. Your argument leads me to believe you think being transgendered is a choice. I'm not saying it is or it isn't, but I'm leaning towards it not being a choice, much like being gay is not a choice for gay people.

You and other people like you can choose to stick to outdated ways of thinking, but that doesn't clear you from being transphobic bigots.

Used to be common to think black people were subhuman. That sort of thinking is rightfully regarded as repugnant and appalling. Transgenderism is a new frontier in civil rights. At the end of the day, choosing to insult and denigrate someone because of your own bias is patently bigoted behavior. The fact that science hasn't come up with a reason as to why transgender people exist is not an excuse for bigotry.

A threat does not necessarily imply the will or intent to make good on said threat.

Oh well then rape can only be physically forced as threats apparently don't mean anything, even when done by a criminal with a gun in your face.

What? That's quite the leap. Where did I say threats don't mean anything?

Did you just ignore his threat since he's only threatening and that doesn't imply intent to carry it out?

No, because like I already said, no one needs to die over a few dollars. He may not have carried through with his threat, but it wasn't worth dying for me to find out.
