Church's has 10 legs and thighs for 10 bucks I think, so that's pretty good. What most places like to sell to single customers is like, two pieces of dark meat and a couple sides or something. I don't want that. I just want the bucket! And then the bigger sizes are like full family meals with a ton of sides and rolls and stuff. I went to Pollo Campero, amazing fried chicken, and asked what kind of deals they have on just dark meat. They said they have a two piece deal, and a 20 piece deal. Wtf! And then trying to just order the exact amount of pieces you want individually is always wildly overpriced. I have a pretty good life. --- |

The pop music today has a very specific feel to it. It's generally a lot slower than popular music of the past. Stuff like Imagine Dragons, very slow rhythm. That one Bad at Love song is another good example. Slow, simple beat. Compare it to say, for example, 90s pop music. All very uptempo and fast paced, generally. --- |

I'm up on the second floor, no windows to open, no access to an open door, so it's basically like an oven. Extremely stale air. It's currently about 96 degrees, which, again, that number itself isn't too hot, but combined with the extremely suffocating environment it's horrible. There were a TON of different angles to film from, meaning a ton of different takes, and all of those close up face shots, the crowd of extras and filming around them, editing all that together, all of those quick cuts, the shot of her flying towards the basket. I mean, a shot can be bad because the film maker may just be lazy about it, but this wasn't the film maker being lazy. And that makes it so much worse in the end. They actually tried. It probably took a whole fucking day of shooting to make this scene happen. --- |

The fight, I mean it's basically cheesy kung fu. We've seen that a ton. It's not totally mind blowingly bad or anything. It follows over the top, cheesy kung fu traditions. The camera work isn't even all that awful, and it honestly doesn't even cut that much. I have long said that the Catwoman basketball scene is the worst instance of filmed fiction that has ever been made ever. It is truly horrifying on every front, on any perceived angle. The script, the actors, the action, the editing, choreography, the kids, the music, just all of it. Everything you could possibly to do make a bad scene is done in that scene. There is a point where Catwoman moves the ball from one hand to the other and just looks at it and smiles and the camera is going insane. And she's just putting the ball in one hand from the other. Just...I can't do it. I can't go on about it. People have tried to show me stuff that is worse than it, like the McDonalds scene from Mac and Me. That's nowhere near as bad as this. You have to look at scope, you have to look at intent, you have to look at the caliber of talent behind the shot to truly judge it. This is an Oscar award winning actress in a modern super hero movie. It was made in a time when we have modern technology and sensibilities. I just don't know how it ever happened. --- |
