I guess you could consider Into the Breach as one too in a way. One of the best games released this year, and one of the most satisfying to really dig into and figure out. I never played on hard, but I won like 3 campaigns in a row on normal at one point and it felt pretty damn good.

I've also posted plenty about Enter the Gungeon, which is tons of fun but too hard for little old me. I also wish it had online co-op instead of just couch, but that's life

Sometimes but not always. It's pure animal instinct that decides whether I go for A or the c-stick.

I've heard of people mapping their tilt attacks (non-smash directional attacks) to the c-stick. Those are pretty hard to land with the default setting so it may be worth looking into.

I'll say this, I'm not a Samus fan in Smash, but Dark Samus does "feel" slightly different even if she's not technically different because of the difference in animations.

Interesting. I don't know if that has any gameplay significance but it's something at least. Richter and Simon seem to be absolutely identical except Simon has red holy water and Richter's is blue.

I think they might literally be exactly the same. Samus has fire and D Samus has electric, but that doesn't really change anything. It changes damage to Pikmin but that might be it, except maybe electric has like an extra frame of stun or something. I don't actually know

And that's largely what I've gotten, give or take a Final Destination here and there. I haven't had any matches with items on in a while now. So maybe try those settings too (unless you want FFA, in which case I can't help)

Actually the big guys are pretty awesome in general in this one. Bowser and Ike are really good and DK hasn't felt this good to play in I don't know how long. Melee? 64 even? He's great, and not just because of his pissed off face when he has a charged punch ready to go. Dedede also makes some great angry faces in this one.

Ganondorf got majorly buffed. I'm not really crazy about his new animations or the fact that they just gave him Ike's smash attacks but he's a monster. Among big guys I'm really liking Dedede in this one too, and K. Rool has an awesome kit that I just haven't had any success with yet.

I'm good at smash but not like "good good." I'm better than most normal people but I still get annihilated from time to time online.

I had fun doing FFA but I think the 2v2 mode is a lot better. Still pretty chaotic but you're not just swinging randomly at least not as much. And it's fun when you get those nice team up moments of setting your partner up for a big hit.

I guess we're done for the night. Only been playing for like 16 hours. That was tons of fun and I'd love to make it happen again sometime.
