He was a really interesting guy, and for a Catholic he had loads of praise for Buddhist practices specifically. He said the bible should just be a guide on being a good person and that they're lessons shown through hyperbole rather than literal events. |

Like genres don't necessarily mesh together but have similarities to the point that things like festivals can have variety It just works without much conscious thought and what all music has in common is that it's generally unassuming in nature, like good music has no ego attached to it. Like take a band like pavement. They have a song called range life. It's pretty much a country song but they're the indie indie band. It works cus music doesn't necessarily have an attachment to anyone it can reach anyone So like forced diversity doesn't work. It's the equivalent of music snobs who are 2kool4school. Like people are people so why not treat them as such and not as groups, no need to attach stupid genres to life. I'm drunk so it's all jumbled but I do have a point I think... |

| Bacon_Pancakes 08/02/18 5:28:47 PM #10 | Polar bears and grizzlies are about equally as aggressive. They won't attack the second they see you but it can happen cus they're fairly aggressive. That aggression goes from 0-1000 if their cubs are close. Black bears aren't exactly docile by any means but you probably won't get attacked by one unless her cubs are nearby or they're hungry/frightened/cornered. Even then it would take a fair amount of antagonizing to get them to go after you. I saw black bears all the time where I used to live and they'd typically just run away. I would occasionally feed them berries as a kid and they never hurt me. |

I'll say this - the last thing that's going to help with writers block is not writing. Even if it's nonsensical strings of sentences it's still something that you're putting on paper spanky1 posted... The best advice possible was already given in this topic. Read a ton. The more you read, the better a writer you become. Also this. It'll help you gain an intrinsic sense of the flow of language to convey ideas. |

To be fair, that time is pretty fast even for high school level swimming and a lot of high school swimmers have been doing it their entire lives. 1:09 for 100m fly at 10 is fucking amazing cus it's easily the most exhausting stroke, I didn't get there until around 12 or 13. Interested to see how he does later in life. |
