Yea,the dispels make Diabolos have a soft DPS check. 2/3 is a good chance, but RNG is RNG.

If you have the DPS(Mag does better since lower spirit), then the rest is just team-building. But if you can't hit the thresholds every turns, then pray to RNG that you don't get dispelled.

I did it with VoL chains after failing a lot.

The biggest thing that makes the fight hard is that, barring threshold turns, he can do an AoE dispel on your party...which removes provokes and active covers as well. (The Estark trial has the same move as well, though he has justification as it being one of his moves in canon anyway.)

This, in turn, gives a soft DPS check on the fight since the only way to have no chance of the dispel is just hitting thresholds all day. It is a soft dps check, however, since you can get lucky with either the dispel going after the big hits or not popping up at all, but the AoE dispel makes sure that Attrition is not a viable option for too long.

You could always quit the game and just come back for Fry's 7*, since everything Gumi is so terrible. You won't miss out on Fry's 7* because you stopped playing for 3 months (or at this rate, a year).

Maybe. Haven't really had a long break from the game in a long while( last time was from dealing with school things, I believe.)

Could just be burnout with all the crap and negativity going on. Still dislike the wheel even if it is free stuff, but I may be coloring it darker than usual due to burnout.

We'll see after Hyoh's event; maybe the plot's decent enough to full run, at least.

And, frankly, the only thing keeping me playing is Fryevia's 7* ( and maybe Christine's). If it's terrible, I'll sell my account in a heartbeat.

This and one other thing: the core game itself. I love how the game plays, with a nice strike of strategy and ease, the sprites are awesome, the music is decent and the story is better than most. Even the progression is decent,barring 7*.

However, all the baggage surrounding it: the lack of communication, the poor support and bugs, the unchecked greed, etc... that is what drags it down for me.

The core game is great, it's just now being wrapped in horrible crap.
