Yeah, so to save on repairs, I like to wait until I'm down to just one or two groups of enemies, then withdraw my frontline tank so they have to approach, in which case they'll likely die in the few seconds before they can fire again. You know, just to give my tank a little break :3

Oddly enough, Galil was my favorite T Doll when I first started too lol. But then I saw all the cool new ones and she was never seen again...

Still though, always remember the withdrawal thing. Just knowing that you can stall enemies for a second or two might just be enough to win a fight. Plus it can help keep your girls from getting critically damaged and costing a lot to repair :<

They're not bad, and actually yeah, they'll probably help early game since they're easy on resources. But they're buffers, so they don't do very good damage. So generally you probably don't want too many on one team; maybe one or two. Unless you're doing the meme team Exodia with IWS2000 and 4 HGs lol.

If you like Astra and Makarov though, they can work fairly well together with RFs, since both of them boost RoF which is good for rifles. But if you don't have any good rifles like WA2000, then you can still probably put them on a team with 2 ARs and 1 SMG. Generally you'll want every team to have at least 1 tank, be they traditional high HP tank, or dodge tanks. Some HGs can become good dodge tanks, but only really when they hit level 80 and get their last equipment slot, so you'll probably want a more traditional tank.

Kiting is when you move to make the enemy have to chase you. Since there's a slight pause before firing, you can move your T Dolls out of range right before they start shooting, meaning that they have to move forward and then get ready to fire again. Here's an example

Although TBH I'm lazy. I don't even move my guys to the front; I just withdraw them individually lol. My teams focus more on offense than anything, so the rest of the team usually has enough firepower to survive. Also something to note though. While moving from one space to another, your units can get hurt. But if you withdraw them, they're invincible the instant you press that button as they retreat.

And enhancing is done in the Factory. It's the middle option where you can choose to use capsules or T Dolls to increase stats. Leveling up usually raises the limit of stats to let you enhance your T Dolls more. For some reason, sometimes leveling up doesn't give you that limit boost though...Note that capsules will always raise every one of the 4 categories by 1 point. Also, using different types of T Dolls will make it easier to raise certain stats. For example, using 2 RFs will always raise attack by 1. I believe 3 SMGs will raise evasion. 3 MGs will raise RoF. 3 PPKs will raise evasion as well; I don't think any other HGs can raise evasion with only 3. Can someone clarify which guns raise what?

Hmmm...My main suggestions for early game stuff

1) Try the balanced 3AR/2SMG squad
2) Make sure you're paying attention to buff tiles
3) Practice kiting to keep your units alive longer
4) Maybe spend some combat reports if you have some
5) Don't forget to enhance! This may seem obvious, but when I first started I didn't realize that units don't get stronger just by leveling up, so I was wondering why my guys were so weak even after all my grinding lol

Look, I'm not trying to say that one job shouldn't be enough; it would be great if everyone could live off one job and not need to jump through hoops to survive. It's just that I feel that in the world today there are circumstances that prevent this from being a reality.

I realize now that I may have come off too pessimistic by starting simply by saying that one job should be enough is a myth in regards to the topic title. But just to clarify, I'm not trying to say that it's good that these people needed to strike to get a raise. I just think that sometimes people need to make sacrifices if they can only go so far by themselves.

I don't determine who determines wages; the owner of the company does. And if people aren't happy with said wages, they aren't obligated to take that job. Or if they need immediate money, they can, as I've many, MANY times, have a roommate or second job.

Also, several scientific fields require rigorous work, much more than lawyers and doctors, but they're not paid nearly at the same even though they contribute much more to society.

How did we even get this far off track? It would be great if people could be paid more if they contribute that much. However, this kind of screws over your initial argument. You think a fast food worker or GameStop employee is worth $70K a year?

Without CEOs, workers still work and generate wealth. It's not hard to see who's truly needed and who isn't. And how have you determined lawyers deserve that much? I could see doctors but why lawyers?

Without anyone running the company there would be no place to work. And lawyers need to study up on law. Are you saying that a fast food cashier deserves as much as a lawyer?

Now, why are corporations owed billions of dollars in welfare when they have made people's lives worse over the last few decades?

people should have food and shelter regardless of where they live

I'm still waiting for my response to his cheap mainland american paradise where I can make minimum wage and live comfortably by myself.

Sorry, but human beings need this thing known as "sleep". And I never said people can or should live off minimum wage, because IMO, they shouldn't. Minimum wage is just that; minimum. It's not called livable wage.

But like I said, why do you have to live by yourself? If you are making only minimum, you shouldn't expect the luxury of having a place all to yourself.

However, here are some places where those workers could've lived by themselves:

Alabama
Detroit
Mississippi
Tennessee
Ohio
Texas
Georgia
Indiana
Louisiana
Iowa
North Carolina
Milwaukee
Oklahoma
Missouri
Cincinatti

All these states have places where the cost of living is under $40K, well under the $50K that those workers were already making before the strike. If they had just avoided the most expensive state in the nation and done a little research, they would be able to live comfortably on their current salary.

Yes, a living wage. Which here in Hawaii has to be around $70k yearly if you want to live by yourself. You could easily get by with what those hotel guys were making if you have a roommate.

But I just want to know why he thinks everyone deserves a living wage with a single job, regardless of job demand, education/skill requirements, and the cost of living. Wages arent a one-size-fits-all kind of thing.

presumably because everyone deserves to live?

So whats wrong with just doing what so many people here do? Get a second job, a better paying job, or roommates? People who whine that every single job should pay a living wage are either delirious or entitled. All occupations are not equal, and therefore do not pay the same. Just like how all states are not equal when it comes to cost of living. So many people on strike were first generation immigrants. Why did they choose to move to the most expensive state in the country? There are plenty of states where one job is enough. Hawaii is not one of them, unless, as previously mentioned, you have a good job. Menial, unskilled labor generally isnt really seen as a good job here.

So please, will one of you guys tell me why having a single unskilled job should be enough for you to live in the most expensive state in the country? Or why people cant simply have roommates? I just dont understand why some people dont realize that Hawaii is expensive is hell, and that there are drawbacks that come with living here.

The previous generations had a living wage to go by, why cant us? Yall tell us not to ***** about not having a living wage yet I constantly see baby boomers crying about millennials killing this industry, millennials arent moving out of their parents homes, millennials arent financing mortgages or cars, millennials have so much debt to their eyeballs, and etc.

Because times and prices change? Or should I complain that I cant buy a nice 3 bedroom house in Kailua for $14K like my grandparents did? If millennials arent moving out, they can be saving for the future.

But once again, Im not seeing an answer to my question...just deflection and bitterness.
