- Movie starts with the kid and his parents leaving the theater, can't get a taxi so they go down Crime Alley, the dad gets knocked out and the crooks steal their money -- then it reveals Batman, so this isn't actually Bruce and his parents as you were led to believe

- Harvey Dent is black, and he's good through and through, no Two Face

- Instead of the usual Detective Bullock, there's a different fat cigar smoking guy named Detective Eckhardt and he's corrupt as hell

I'll probably see more parallels as I watch

It really looks amazing. The thing about that show is that they used a black canvas. That's why it looks so unique. In HD everything just pops.

Tonight so far I read the first book of The Dark Knight Returns, such a classic. Then I watched the first episode of Young Justice which was great. And now I'm watching the original Superman movie and loving it! I want to take in everything this service has to offer

hoepfully they build up the library soon. I want something equal to MU. not just a handful of stuff. and I don't like that "rotating selection" wording. got worried the first time I heard that. maybe they will end the rotating part later and realize its a bad idea. when an issue gets added to MU, it's there forever.

I doubt they'll be taking main things off. It's kinda hard to show but here's a screenshot of some of the Batman comics



So you can see they only have 3 issues of New 52 Batman on there, but 74 of the original series, and the first issue of Batman '66. It's like a taste of everything but plenty to read now and things will probably be added weekly.

I mean there are a ton from every title, it's just like specific arcs or issues. Sometimes they just have the first issue so right now it's kind of annoying. I've been reading Morrison's Doom Patrol run to get ready for that show.

There's always a big line when I pass them around here. I don't know why though.

It's quite a bit more than just another streaming service.

It also has a whole forum, which is cool for chats just with big fans.

It has a whole comic service which works really well, similar to Marvel Unlimited. The selection here is limited, but it's meant as a slow trickle to keep us interested, like they're doing with the streaming video content.

Then there's also a store exclusive to members. I was on the train when I looked at this earlier and ended up ordering the full set of exclusive action figures for like $200. I may regret it but fuck it, gotta represent. I think they'll be worth something someday...

The shirts they have on there are really cool too, I ordered the Batman one.

Starting implies, obviously, that someone is on the starting lineup. That's not what happens in fantasy. They are the only one you can play for that week. If you were starting players, you would be able to switch them in and out.

To be clear, they made games of all the movies, but they're shit. I'm talking about a modern game from Rocksteady that doesn't necessarily follow any of the storylines from the books.

Would that not be the greatest thing? Everyone thinks they're making a Superman game, but they still haven't officially announced it, even though it was expected at E3.

What if they're pulling the wool over the eyes of leakers, thinking that well it's a game that involves a lot of flying, and shooting energy beams at your enemies...

That would be the best thing. We need a proper Harry Potter game. I hope Warner Brothers is making this happen.
