How did you go about efficiently getting the summons? I don't know the safest way to pick which generic souls to use to ensure I don't get rid of one I'll need specifically later.

with my OCD I just went with summoning anything and everything that wasn't ???-marks which I assume just meant I didn't personally summon it yet, so now I can see everything in the summons menu with a checkmark... (and even have the ingredients to summon whatever i want again)

basically anything I lost just seems to come up on the Spirit Board again as unobtained (without a checkmark) so I gave up caring about "losing" things

but also a lot of ingredients seem to only pop up in the WoL shops, like Majora's Mask (ingredient for The Moon summon)

I saw on Reddit that there's 877, but only 876 are actually obtainable. The unremixed SMB3 ground theme is in the game's files but can't be acquired.

yeah I was missing one from World of Light

a DK song is on a little cliffside right near the west end of that long wall, near the jungle

despite saying i had 100% completion in WoL, I guess chests don't count, even if they have music in them lol

... annnd it seems I was missing this same one

so Music complete too now wooo thx, somehow missed after 2 complete "100%" runs

Assumed strength tends to be a big weakness in these things! Makes for overlooked support & targets on their back to snipe out before the remaining pool gets concentrated

I'm still waffling on whether its better than 4.

Ultimately if they had just given us 4 but with an improved tweaked smash run and a fine tuned smash tour and better menus I might have preferred that.

4's problems were mostly due to how it artificially stretched out the game, and ultimate fixes that, but in doing so it also takes out a lot of what made 4 a game that could be played forever

preferring 4 over Ultimate makes the least amount of sense in Smash predecessor-vs-sequel history

like even preferring Smash 3DS over Wii U has more logic behind it since 3DS had all the good stages vs Wii U's selection of trash, and 3DS had the superior bonus game mode (Smash Run)

like i have zero clue what your last sentence is even referring to that 4 could be played forever

I can say that I have 875 music tracks and I haven't seen anything come up in the shop for a long time (I'm still checking frequently for alt Fighter Spirits) and I've completed Adventure Mode, NG+, collecting almost all non-fighter spirits, and cleared Classic with everyone by now
