As far as the subject of making the X-Men more diverse goes. I personally don't care. But I can see where some concern would be especially if Marvel wants to start from the basics.

X-Men are definitely one of the most diverse teams in comics with characters from a whole range of cultures, countries, and ethnicities. But the original team of Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Jean Grey, and Angel is all white. Fighting mostly white villains. It really wasn't until Giant-Sized X-Men where the actual diversity started to increase. So yeah, if Marvel wants to stick to the classic team of X-Men, they are going to have a very white movie. Again, if that's the case, I don't really care, but by the same token if they put out the casting call for the characters and none of them are race-restricted, I also don't care. It's not that big a deal.

There is diversity among whites. :\
Frankly, a rotating roaster movie to movie would be good for the franchise if they move it to the MCU. Give D listers more exposure, shoehorn more characters and craziness into it.

Swap Jean out for anyone and I'll consider it a success.

I'm a bit confused here. With the exception of having Molly in Runaways be Hispanic and Blink in the Gifted be Asian, all these other shows have mostly cast all their characters with the same race as their comic counter-parts. Where is the diversity quota here?

Furthermore, C&D has been a been a straight success for Freeform and does decently critically. Runaways is a complete mess of a show but that was all writing and plotting, nothing to do with the casting. The Gifted has performed decently for Fox, but even if it didn't its casting is almost entirely comic accurate.

Inhumans wasn't even particularly diverse in any respect and it's failure was entirely on the production side. Legion is also not particularly diverse so any flopping (it's a critical darling) is driven by it being weird as shit not because of diversity quotas.

I'll be honest here, I haven't really watched those, I just assumed they were flopping and only gave them a cursory glance. They just didn't look any good and I made some unfair, unfounded assumptions.

What a shitty opinion. Leaving your family stranded is something they should have notifed him of, especially since he left their service station, and since the guy he called only know of one other case, this is a rare issue. This bullshit is why captialism in it's purist form is bound to fail.

I'm not saying that owners shouldn't have any rights here but at some point you can't expect the company to keep servicing and supporting vehicles they haven't certified.
