Bayonetta is a weird, yet enjoyable playthrough on Tarvould's channel. One player is just loving the absurdity, but the other one is just, "What the fuck is this? My brain is melting, do I like this? I kinda like it, but I don't..."

It's an interesting dynamic.

Also I absolutely agree with the sentiment of the killer's name not being important. He doesn't need the infamy. He's just a murderer who hurt innocent people. Fucker doesn't deserve a name.

I really hate that shit like this keeps happening in this country. I also hate how we all know exactly how it's going to play out. It gets reported. Some people talk about gun control, other people go "STOP POLITICIZING THIS!", people give out "thoughts and prayers" like it means a shit, and then a week or so later nothing happens and people forget about it. Until the next shooting that is.

Oh and people say things on the internet that makes you lose a little more faith in humanity in general.

I'm starting to fear that the only solution is to move to a less crazy country. At this rate, nothing is going to change until people are done killing each other.

The cycle continuing doesn't make the separate incidents themselves not hit home for people. I normally do not follow news, but have taken a strong dislike to this particular incident due to the gaming/Twitch backdrop. I don't have any say in the politics of the situation. That is not my forte at all.

Good. I also implore others who haven't not to. It puts a face and voice to people dying...makes it so much worse.

Ok. A website confirmed it was for $5000 and a berth in a national tournament...still disgusting.

I saw the footage, and it was sickening and sad. Not sure what would drive a person to even commit an act (I'm more on this being a cultural/personal issue) than gun control problem. The person decided to follow through with the act, and people are dead. No place is 100% safe, but you would think a gaming event would be "Oh shit, let's have fun. Drink a little or just play for the hell of it."

What I wonder is if it was a competitive prize event. Not saying what the suspect did is any less deplorable, but I would more likely understand "Oh I'll fucking shoot these people" because they lost out on potential money. Money does stupid things to people, and people do stupid things for money.

Though that's something I doubt we know about yet. If it's a "gaming bar" and not an eSport championship sort of thing, who knows. But this is sad, and certainly takes the enjoyment out of being a gamer just a little bit.

Thanks.

My hope is SE doesn't gate off/block scenes. FFVII and FFX both have their biggest scenes and endings blocked, but Secret of Mana was never gated off for anything. Found that a bit weird. I'm not a huge fan of the capture card I've got (more my crappy laptop I suppose), but if I have to use it, I will.

Also, apologies for not posting the wall of creators. The last topic did, so I suppose Tarvould has it somewhere.

I couldn't really advertise this last night. Way too busy. Still, I'm about halfway done with PSIV. Don't think I'll be done in time to start DQXI on its launch day, but hopefully it won't be that long a wait.

Diamond Cutter/Double Black Diamond/Extreme are pretty tough, but are great if you have a day off the next day. Otherwise, sticking with all of the other programs is plenty of work.

I actually liked 1&2's bump mechanic. The game goes by super quick, rather than wasting time slogging through battles.

I bought a TRX suspension training system yesterday. This should help me keep my home workouts interesting. I was actually trying to buy a straight weightlifting/body bar, but this will work well for now.

I haven't seen Pepsi One anywhere except random convenience stores I rarely go to. Or my grandma's house (so maybe Walmart). Both Diet Coke and Coke Zero Sugar are sold in my building.

I wonder why they bother selling "Diet" and "Zero Sugar" as different bottles. I tried both Cokes side by side, and it was the same stupid drink, taste, caffeine content, etc. I would imagine Pepsi does the same tactic.

I let my topic die (been dealing with bad situations recently). It turns out I was GAINING weight recently, and I had to withdraw from grad school due to bad performance during internships.

That said, part of me feels free that grad school didn't work out. I'm at home looking for work now, and I suppose I can use this time to finally focus on me, the person, rather than the expectation that I have to work, work, work. I mean...I'm not happy at all, but I have no better time than now to actually make good on my promises.I'm over 200 lbs right now, but I'm re-purposing some giant Arizona jugs as water storage. I think I know a good "drinking" schedule of sorts that was seeing some results before I got let go from my school (was around 195 after about three days). I just have to get over this stupid heatwave first to get back to it.

So I'm a total wreck right now. But I haven't given up. My knee seems to have recovered from a stress fracture, so I'm jogging again too.
