A lot of times if I'm paying with cash and it's even like 5 cents, the cashier will just say forget it. I don't need to ask them to help out. They realize it's better for everyone involved to give out a dollar in change.

Ok I think I figured it out. The account becomes vested 20% more each year of employment. I was at 4 years at this place so that leaves me with 80% vested. So I will never be able to get fully vested.

It's been crashing over the past month, but when I'm looking into my options with this, even just transferring the funds to my current 401k gives me this smaller balance. So if I'm losing over a grand just by transferring it (which I still don't even know how that process would work), another 30% loss in taxes doesn't even seem all that bad. I sure could use an extra 7 grand in my pocket.

At the beginning of November of 2010, which was about the same time into his presidency as 45 is now, it had rose to 11,215, a 58% rise in 21 months. It closed at 19,804 his last day in office, meaning he nearly tripled the dow jones. Since 45 took office, he's only been able to grow it 28%, far short of what Obama was able to accomplish in the same time period.

Now I want you to reread what you just posted. Barry inherited a bottomed out DOW at 7k. Logic says its a whole lot easier to significantly grow a weak economy than it is to significantly grow a strong one. Thats like a teacher inheriting a class that was brought from a D to a B average, boosting them up to an A, then being penalized because there wasnt as much growth as before.

You're the one spinning numbers to work in your favor. You're talking about a 4,000 point increase, assuming that the facts you listed are true. 4,000 points amounting to 58%. So impressive!

However Trump's 28%, as you claim, if we fairly look at the highest point the Dow has reached, it went up to 26,828, an increase of 7,000 points in 21 months.

So it's actually almost double the increase in terms of raw dollars, on top of the fact that it wasn't a bottomed-out economy. This combined with the fact that the Dow has closed at a new all-time high over 100 times in Trump's presidency should give you a clue of just how good he's doing.

Changes to the economy aren't instantaneous. They usually take a few years before the effect can be felt.

Obama made people think manufacturing in America was a thing of the past. We just couldn't do it anymore. Trump comes in and completely reverses that. We're adding 1,000 manufacturing jobs a DAY at this point. 32,000 were added in October. It's just growing and growing and it is a direct result of the things Trump are doing as president.

At my company we saw immediate huge growth right after the China tariffs were announced. We simply can't keep up with the demand. We can't hire enough people! This is not Obama's work by any standard!

It's a verifiable fact. Our economy is booming. Manufacturing is completely off the charts. My company has always had a 2 week lead time to build parts and now we've been blown up with so many orders we're out to 8 weeks. We can't keep up with the demand. That's the real Trump effect but you don't hear about that from CNN.
