Though, even though D&D differentiates between divine and arcane magic, that doesn't really change the mechanics of the magic - you can still have Transmutation spells piped directly in from your god that count as Cleric spells, as opposed to learning Transmutation magic that taps into the underlying magical currents of the universe as such (and in the same vein, this is why Clerical spells like Raise Dead and Resurrection technically count as Necromancy).

And that technically, an arcane magic Fireball cast by a Wizard is itself considered different from an arcane magic Fireball cast by a Sorcerer.

A lot of the "crunch" gets simplified to make the rules playable, but in the "fluff" any given spell can actually represent multiple versions of the same spell cast in different ways using different energy by different methods.

In the Conan movie, which isn't D&D but ignore that, when James Earl Jones shoots a snake arrow - I always thought it was an interpretation of the sticks to snakes spell

Is this one of them?, because I solved this puzzle but I am still confused about why because I don't understand it:

The part to get the cog where you need to chant the 5 mantras at the "Colossal Dragon's Neck". I got the clues about the twins/cog guarding a beasts jaw, and I got the other clue about the mantras and the neck leading to the jaw so I got that they were connected.... but I have NO IDEA why that room where you chant the mantras has anything to do with a dragons neck at all (unless the name of the room, something not english, actually means dragons neck... and then thats just dumb).

I only tried the mantras there in the first place because I had been searching for forever and I just happened to notice that the room was supposed to have a path leading down so I figured why not try -_-

I'm still stuck on a lot of parts in the later game, but I'm slowly figuring it all out. 10/10 will play again for cheevos
